REALITY

after taking pictures emma and i didn't do much besides binge watch netflix until it was around dinner time. i wanted to get home to i could take a shower and then have time before dinner is ready. i quickly drove there and then freshened up. afterwards i was just on my phone going thorough social media. i was replying to the comment on my post when i noticed josh commented. i didn't bother responding cause i didn't know why he commented. it was just a "hi" too. it was around 6:30 when i was gonna downstairs from boredom but went to sage's room instead.

"hi" i say walking into sage's room.
"oh hey" she says looking up from her computer.
"whatchya doin" i say.
"nothing" she says and then closes the laptop.
"coool, sound fun" i say.
"mhm" she says.
"what do you need" she says.
"nothing, just bored" i say.
"don't you have homework?" she asks.
"nope, well not any more. i did it with emma while we were studying" i say.
"nice" she says.
"NiCe" i say mocking her.
"ok, well i see your in a better mood than yesterday" she says.
"oh yeah, sorry about getting mad at you. i wasn't in a good state" i say.
"you were drunk?" she says.
"no sherlock" is say.
"then what happened" she asks.
"well where should i start, oh vinnie cheated on me" i say getting straight to the point.
"what!?" sage exclaims.
"yeah..." i say.
"how..what" she says shocked.
"well how..nessa and vinnie kissed and who knows maybe hooked up at the party and yeah.." i say.
"oh my god i'm sorry" she says.
"don't be" i say.
"how'd you find out" she asks.
"well the whole group and i decided to go skating and then we went to the diner afterwards. everything was going pretty well and like they were all getting along which is sometimes unusual but thats besides the point. we were getting ready to leave and finishing our meals when i see olivia and nessa walk in" i say.
"oh no" sage says.
"so we all decided to ignore them until nessa got up in our personal space trying to talk to me. we were still ignoring but then got annoyed at her and responded. she started acting all sketchy and shit asking vinnie if there was something he needed to tell me and he said he didn't know what she was talking about. then i guess she got sick of his shit and just me showed me the video." i say.
"what was on the video" she asks.
"it was a video of vinnie and nessa making out. how wonderful" i say.
"ew" she says.
"yeah so after that i stormed out of there and thats basically what happened" i say.
"that son of a bitch" she says.
"did you break up with him" she asks.
"no, not yet but i think he already knows that i'm not gonna stay with him. he tried texting me and i just told him to shut it" i say.
"what did he say" she asks.
"here look for yourself" i say tossing her my phone with the messages opened.
"your a badass, he didn't deserve him" she says tossing me my phone back.
"yup, i told josh too" i say.
"who?" she says.
"josh, nessa's boyfriend" i say.
"oh, how'd he react" she says.
"he seemed a bit upset at first but then seemed to get over it but who knows what he thinks on the inside" i say.
"mm yeah...well are you ok" she asks.
"i'm fine" i say.
"welll if you need something you can always tell me" she says.
"i know" i say.

"kids! dinners ready" we hear my mom yell from the kitchen.
"coming" sage and i say synced.

"you hungry?" she asks me.
"no, not really" i say.
"neither am i but lets go" she says.
"mhm i'll meet you there, i have to make sure i did something real quick" i say.
