REALITY

the next day we all fully woke up around 12 pm. we stayed up till like 4 in the morning doing random things, so that would obviously lead us to sleeping in very late. i was the first one to wake up because i couldn't sleep in too long. i woke up around 9 and that was pretty late for me. once we were all awake james and larray had to go back to their homes because they had stuff to do, so it left dixie, emma adn i left. we all cleaned up the tent we made last night and then decided to get ready and then go get breakfast together. it took us about an hour to take showers and then get ready so by the time we were done it was already 2 and practically lunch time. we decided to go to a local diner they had in our town. after getting food and eating we all separated ways. i went back to my house adn was cleaning up my room trying to be productive when vinnie texted me.

REALITY

he said he would pick me up at 7 and it was currently 4, so i had a couple of hours until i had to start getting ready. i finished cleaning up my room minus the enormous pile of books i had to read over the summer. i had about a week left and a little less than one book left to finish reading. for the next two hours i did random things to get myself ready for the school year. at about around 6 o'clock i decided to start getting ready. i quickly hoped in the shower, but didnt wash my hair because i had showered in the morning as well. then i did some light make up and threw on a casual outfit like her told me to. i had about half and hour until vinnie would be here so i just scrolled through my phone.

it was around 40 minutes later and 7:10 and vinnie still haven't came, so i just thought he was running a little late due to traffic.

it was now 7:30 and he wasn't here, so i decided to call him.

PHONECALL

"hey you comin"
"uh yeah someone showed up at my house, so i'm a little late. sorry"
"no its ok, but who"
"doesn't matter, i'll be there in 15 minutes ok"
"ok see ya.."
"bye"

REALITY

i was a little iffy after that call wondering who showed up why'd it take so long when we had plans. I decided to put the thought away and that it was probably one of his friends or something. soon enough after 15 minutes he finally arrived and ringed my doorbell.

"hi I'm sorry i was so late, but hopefully these flowers will make it up to you" he said giving me a bouquet of roses.
"dont be, these are so pretty. thank you" i say giving him a hug.
"ok well i think we should get going now?" he says.
"yeah lets go" i say as i close the front door.

he opens the door for me as i get into his car.

"so where we going" i say looking at him while he starts the car.
"that is for you to find out, but lets go get dinner and then i have a suprise for you" he say while smiling at me and beginning to drive off from my house.

we finally arrive at this fancy restaurant. we go inside.

"hi i made reservations for two under the name vinnie hacker" he said to the person at the front of the restaurant.
"ah yes please come this way" she says.

vinnie holds my hand as we follow her and ifnnallly make our way to a table.

"here are some menus, i'll be right with you" the waiter says and then walks away.
"this place is fancy" i say looking at the ceiling to see a beautiful sight.
"yeah it really is, i knew you would like it" he says.
"ok what drinks could i get you two" the waiter says.
"uh i'll have a lemonade" vinnie says.
"and for you" the waiter says looking at me.
"a water will be fine, thank you" i say.
"ok i'll get those for you while you have a little time to look through the menu" she says and walks away.

she gets us our drinks and then we order our food. we talk for a bit and catch up. our food arrive and we have our meal. the sun is starting to set, but not completely set by the time we are done. vinnie eventually fights me to pay, but i don't let him. we finally set on splitting the check and then we go back to his car.

"that was so necessary" he says with a chuckle as we walk back to him car.
"what was" is say confused.
"i was gonna pay fro you, but you didn't let me" he says and opens the door for me to get in.
"no it wasn't! you know i don't like other people paying for me" i say as he gets into the vehicle.
"whatever" he said leaving a kiss on my head.

he starts driving somewhere that is completely different from the directions of either of our houses.

"where we goin, this isn't the way to either of our houses" i sayleaning my head on his shoulder.
"i told you i have a surprise, be patient" he says with a smirk.
"oh.." i say.

after a quick but long  drive we finally make it to a beach. vinnie helps me get our and we make our way to the sand.

"vinnie it so pretty" i say looking at the sunset in shock.
i feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and soon vinnie says, "i knew you would like it" and kisses my cheek.
we watch the sunset and soon i turn around and say, "thank you for bringing me here its so nice" i say and kiss him.
"your welcome, wait stay right here i'll be right back" he say and runs to the car while i stay standing in the dark.

he comes back soon with a blanket and lays it down in the sand.

"what's this for" i say with a chuckle as he lays down.
"star gazing, Its so pretty here" he says.
"oh ok" i say and lay down next to him. he soon pulls me into him as we watch the starts. vinnie was right, it was so pretty.
we sit in comfortable silence until i say, "you come here often?"
"yeah i guess, it helps me clear my mid sometimes" he says.
"oh i figured" i say.
"how come" he asks.
"you said it looked really pretty and you were right, so i figured you come here a lot" i say.
"oh yeah" he says.

we stay there for about 25 minutes and then we go to an ice cream shop. then he drops me of at my hose and goes home himself. i go home, get ready for bed and soon enough I'm passed out in bed. this was definitely one of the best nights i've had this summer.
