REALITY

i know my sister like the back of my hand. she didn't have some silly project with this "guy from her science class." i knew sage. our dad is quite strict when it comes to our relationships. i mean aren't most dads like that?

when it came to my past relationships my mom always gave them a chance but let me tell you, my dad wasn't always open about it. he thought that we were too young and the guy would just end up breaking my heart. he finally gave in and actually liked vinnie. that's part of the reason why i don't want to tell my parents yet, my dad will just say that he warned me.

anyways i was gonna go tease sage a bit. i knew what she was up to.

"sageee" i cooed as i walked through the hallway towards her room.

"hm found ya" i say sitting on her bed to see her doing her makeup at her vanity.

"what do you need" she says.

"oh me, nothing" i say.

"why are you getting all fancy" i say.

"what do you mean, it's casual" she says.

"yeah yeah, but you would never get this ready to just be going to see a house and then the store" i say.

"i just wanted to look nice today" she says.

"for whoooo" i say teasingly.

"what are you on" she says.

"ok i'll suck it up if you tell me where you're going" i say acting like a 5 year old.

"literally no where, your acting like a child" she says, hm read my mind.

"you can tell me you know, i know you din't have an actual project to do" i say.

"fine, will you tell anyone" she saying spinning a round in her chair.

"i would never" i say.

"fine, just this guy i met. we're going out for lunch and that's it. don't tell anyone" she says.

"you're so stupid" i say.

"huh" she says.

"why on earth would you lie and say that you have a "project," you could've just left after we came back home" i say in a duh tone.

"well i don't feel like driving and plus it would be easier. he told me to come to him house anyways" she says.

"why" i say.

"he's like a musician and he's showing me some of him guitars, it's cool" she says.

"weird, anyways we should probably get going" i say.

"shit, i lost track of time" she says.

we go downstairs and see my parents waiting for us. turns out we were just on time. we headed to the new house. once we pulled into the driveway of the house, the first thing i noticed was the size. it was massive, like twice as big as our current house. we got greeted by our agent and he showed us around. my parents had been here before, but that was when it wasn't completely finished. to my eyes, it looked done by now. the layout was a bit different from usual houses, but i still liked it. although i didn't want to move, but this house wasn't bad. i could see my family living here, but i don't know about me. i was so attached to that neighborhood that i don't know if i could let go.

it was already final that we were buying the house so our parents allowed us to choose room. i got the biggest room besides the master bedroom. sage would've gotten it, but she's moving out soon so it wasn't worth it. the rooms were about the same size but there was a small one which would become our guest bedroom, two smaller ones but a bit bigger than the guest one the same size, one a bit bigger, and then the master. so a total of 5 rooms. it was a very roomy house.

after spending about an hour at the house we went to home depot where mom and dad chose colors for our living room while us kids were looking to see if we wanted to change the color of our rooms. i decided not to because the walls were already this nice white and i didn't want to ruin that. i was gonna put up lights so they would look good against a white all.

after ordering paint we dropped of sage at the guys house.

we were heading home i decided to post the pictures from earlier.
