REALITY

after my little talk with josh i felt a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders. i don't know why but i felt relived that he wasn't mad. i guess he believed me too. i wonder what nessa with think when she finds out he knows. well now we wait. i got into my car and drove to emma's. we decided to a little study sesh before we had the beginning of the year test. they always make us do this stupid test at the beginning of the year because "it shows them what we learned last year" but really i think it's just a bunch of stress before we get actual school work.

i ringed the bell of emma's door but no one came to it so i decided to text her.

REALITY

it took a couple minutes until the door finally opened. emma was normally home alone during the day because both of her parents worked long jobs and she was an only child.

"hi, come in" she says.
"hey, what room you so long i was out there for like 10 minutes" i say.
"sorry i was taking a shower, i have gym last period and i feel all icky afterwards so i took a shower" she say.
"oh it ok" i say "so studying?"
"yeah, we can study at my dinning table. you get set up while i grab my stuff" she says.
"ok" i say and make my way to the table.

"so what's up" she says pulling her stuff out.
"nothing much, i just talked to josh" i say.
"what did you talk about" she says.
"oh we met up and i showed him the video" i say.
"why" she says.
"oh did i not tell you, in the video it was nessa on vinnie" i say.
"ohhhh, well how'd he react" she says.
"at first i thought he was gonna be mad but then i guess he was just sorry" i say.
"sorry? for what" she says.
"when i told him all the shit about olivia me nessa he didn't believe me and now i guess he does" i say.
"oh i guess that's good, you guys friends now?" she says.
"i don't know, he asked me for my number though" i say.
"well did you give him it" she says.
"yeah, i'm not mean" i say.
"mhm" she says.

we study for about an hour until we thought we had all the curriculum down. all of a sudden emma says something out of the ordinary.

"he's kinda hot" she says.
"who?" i say looking up from my book.
"josh" she says.
"emma! not him" i say.
"what! you can't lie and say he's not" she says.
"he's not that hot" i say.
"THAT HOT you still thinks he's hot" she says teasing me.
"no no no i just got out of a relationship" i say.
"you want a relationship with him, y/n!" she says with a gasp.
"NO ABSOLUTELY NOT" i say.
"but you just admitted it!" she says.
"no i didn't! i just meant that i can't be saying those things right out of a relationship" i say.
"wait you and vinnie are over?" she says.
"i don't know, but i don't think i want to be in a relationship if he cheated" i say.
"did you hear the guy out" she says.
"no well kinda, but you know he knew about my last relationships" i say.
"yeah i guess.. maybe you'll be friends?" she says.
"maybe but it'll take time" i say.
"you guys were cute" she says.
"i thought you didn't like him" i say.
"i didn't really, seemed like a douchebag but he treated you well and you were both happy" she says.
"yeah.. ok ok let's not sulk about him. do you want to keep studying?" i say.
"no not really i think we're good" she says.
"ok" i say and start packing up.
"do you want to take insta pictures, i haven't posted in a while?" emma asks.
"sure, outside?" i say.
"yeah, it's gonna get cold soon so i want too take some pictures before it does" she says.
"ok let's clean up and then we can" i say.
"ok" she says.

we clean up and then go up to emma's room to freshen up a bit. emma had just taken a shower and he hair was a bit so she blow dried it and i just toughened up my makeup and changed. emma let me borrow her clothes. we're practically sisters so she didn't mind. we went outside and to emma's backyard and took some pictures. her yard was very nice so the pictures turned out pretty good.

i'm gonna do insta pics next chapter but first let me rant

so i have a childhood friend and our moms were friends before we were born so like our families have know each other for ever. recently she got tiktok and we exchanged usernames and shit. i guess she showed her mom my tiktoks and then her mom was talking to my mom today and they got on the topic of my videos. now my videos aren't inappropriately anything but like i don't want my mom seeing them cuz it's just embarrassing. little backstory my mom hates tiktok. so today during lunch she's like "i found out about your tiktok, let me see your videos and then i want you to delete the whole account." i was like NO. anyways i didn't let her see the videos and i just ran to my room. so basically she wants me to delete all social media and be a depressed child as if i'm already not 😐. like bruh. smh. i hate her. i'm not gonna delete tiktok even if she wants me.p too. i mean i put all my videos on private and whatnot but i'm still gonna use the app. i feel like my parents will just take away anything that makes me happy. like i'm not even allowed to facetime anyone past 4 pm and i like finish school and homework at like 3. I'M AN STRAIGHT A STUDENT MOTHER. MY LOWEST GRADE IS A 96 LET ME LIVE. god i can't wait till i go to college. oh and they want me to do college at a one in my town so i can't move out. like no i'm moving out when i turn 18. my parents are so toxic. smh. what do you guys think? lmk
