time skip : 5 days

it was finally this time of the summer. the last three days until we have to go to school. for most people in highschool this was a sad time, but the kids at my school look forward to this. the kids at our school have this tradition to have parties all night for the last three days of summer. its been going on for years now, weird right? like why wouldn't they do this in the summer. well the answer to that is because people like to go to school the first day all hungover and shit. i personally think its a stupid and irresponsible idea. those kids think its fun the night before and then they have headaches for the next couple of days. now kids in highschool are technically under age, so every year something always goes bad. i've never gone to any of these parties and i don't plan on doing so anytime soon. apparently vinnie was going because it was his senior year and he wanted to live it out to the fullest. my plan for the next three days were to sit in my bed and binge watch Netflix. sounded like the best thing ever and was.

REALITY

i didn't really understand the point of these parties but it was whatever. after texting vinnie i took a shower, changed into sweats, ordered food and then watched nexflix. it was what i do best. today was a rather boring day, but i didn't mind because i knew that in about a month i won't have any of these days due to junior year homework stress. i enjoyed my day peacefully unlike others who decided to go the party.
