REALITY

today. today was a new start. today was the start of a new journey. today was a start of a new chapter in my life. today was the start of the miserable junior year. i hate it here. i had to get up early for the first time in forever today and let me tell you, i was not happy about it. who actually likes waking up early. not me. anyways i woke up around 5 o'clock in the morning. i was trying to look presentable on the first day at least. now i don't know about the other days, but at least for the first day.i got up after 4 alarms and went to the bathroom. there i brushed my teeth, took a shower, and did my business. after that i put on a cute outfit. i doing my skin care when emma facetimed me.

"what are you doing"
"uh i was getting ready, you?"
"i hardly just woke up, when did you wake up?"
"5 o'clock"
"5 o'clock?! how"
"well it took me 4 alarms to get up"
"sounds like you"
"because it is me"
"what are you wearing?"
"one second let me show you"
"this" i showed her what i was wearing by standing up.
"oh thats cute"
"yeah, i wanted to look presentable at least on the first day"
"yeah, i don't know what i'm gonna wear"
"i bet you'll figure it out. you have 5 billion clothes"
"yeah thats the problem, too many choices"

"sounds like such a bad problem"

"yeah, you can"

"you're probably gonna get ready first soooo"

"like I'm sick of it. i'm not gonna let them get to me this year"

"I talked to mary yesterday—"

"the lady that owns the dinner, remember?"

"well i went and talked to her and she was like get a counselor, and don't get me wrong she's so sweet but i feel like a counselor will amen it worse so I'm just gonna shut them up myself"
"yeah, so what do you think you're gonna do"
"i don't know yet, but you know what keeps happening"

"anytime i talk to josh either on of the keep interrupting so i just told him over text"
"you talked to him again?"
"yeah, when i went to the fair the other day, he was there with them"
"oh, sorry about that. I kinda bailed last minute"

"oh you will never believe what he told me"

"olivia told him that I BULLY HER"

"i know, i was like believe me or not, but I'm not like you cruel sister"

"i don't know to be honest, he was kinda confused but i left him on seen"
"oh, you might see him today"
"yeah, not that i care but why is he involved in stupid drama that doesn't involve him"
"i was thinking the same thing, he's kinda acting like a dad that has to sort out fights between him daughters"

"yeah, have you talked to vinnie about it"
"shit, kinda forgot about him. i haven't talked to him in days"

"uh he said "you wanna drive to school together?""

"you said we would!"
"i know, i could drive both of you there"
"uh no, I'm not staying a car with that stink"

"just make something up!, say you're already at my house"

"you'll see him there anyways"
"yeah, although i don't know if we have any classes together"

"well I'm gonna go get something to eat from downstairs and then I'll be at your house in about 20 minutes"

REALITY

i quickly went downstairs after finishing up my make up and grabbing my bag. i went to the kitchen and was met with my mom.

"hey honey, you ready?" she says.
"yeah just gonna grab something and then go pick up emma" i say while grabbing a banana.
"is that all your having, i could make you something if you would like" she says.
"no, its ok but thank you" i say.
"ok, i packed you a lunch its in the fridge if you want to grab it" she says.
"ok, thank you!" i said running up the stairs to grab my shoes and then went downstairs, grabbed my lunch and then headed out.
"bye mom, bye dad i'm leaving"i say.
"ok, have a great day!" my mom yells.
"ok bye" i say and then get into my car.

i quickly made it to emma house a sent her a shot text sayin was here. after a couple of minutes i saw her leave her house and walk to my car.

"hey" she says entering the car.
"hey" i say.
"ready to go?" i say as i see she has her seatbelt.
"yup, lets go!" she says.
"you sound way too exited" i say and chuckle.
"eh" she says.

we arrive at the school and get out of the car. we grab our stuff and make our way to the front. i let out a sigh as we are about to walk in.

i think we all dread the first day
also sorry i didn't post the last two days, i was really busy and a lot of stuff is happening in my family
i'll be back on schedule now :)
