REALITY

after the 35 minute drive we had finally made it to the party. once we got there i discovered this massive house. "damn someone rich must live here" i thought to myself. then i realized that if there were probably gonna be lots of people and I'd probably have to talk to some. if you didn't know i have major so talking to people just scares me. weird huh? i may seem like this really outgoing character, but in reality i'm not. if i get close with you then i'll probably start to show more of my actual personality, but its kinda hard if i don't know you. i was deep in my thoughts about who knows what, but i brought away from them once vinnie opened the passenger side door and held out a hand for me to grab. i grabbed his hand and got out of the car while shutting the door.

"you ready. you looked quite focused on something" he said while looking at my face.
"yeah lets go. i don't know what that was" i say while squeezing his hand for reassurance.
"ok you ready to party!" he said trying to add enthusiasm to the conversation.
"yeah, yeah lets go" i said with a chuckle.

as we walk through the door vinnie says "did you see this house its massive. i wonder who's it is."
"yeah its huge" i say.

as we walk around we finally spot emma, larrray, dixie, and james. oh looks like he came as well. vinnie and i start walking towards them and they finally see us.

"y/n! you guys finally got here. took ya so long" emma says.
"yeah we were just looking for you guys" i say.

"hey i see some of my friends i'll be right back. promise i won't take too long" vinnie wispers to me.
"oh ok. come back tho i don't want to be left alone" i say.

with that vinnie left and i bring my full attention to my group of friends.

"so what have you guys been doing i feel like i've only seen y/n over the summer" emma asks larray, dixie, and james.
"hey!" i say.
"what i never said that was a bad thing" emma says and laughs.
"yeah whatever" i say and roll my eyes.
"uh well i was in LA for a good amount of the summer" dixie says.
"for charli?" i ask.
"yeah. don't get me wrong its so nice out there, but i missed this place" dixie says.
"yeah, well i was stuck at home and let me tell you! larray is the most annoying person to hang out with all summer" James says jokingly.
"could say the same for you bitch" larray says sassily while emma, dixie, and i laugh at their argument.
"well anyone wanna go get a drink with me?" emma asks.
"i'll come" dixie says.
"yeah me too" i say.
"ok do you guys wanna come?" emma asks james and larray.
"uh i think i'll pass i think i saw a cute guy over there" larray says.
"yeah i think i saw someone too" james says.
"oh ok well we'll be right back and find you if you're not busy" emma says and winks at them as we walk off.

we make our way to the kitchen which pretty hard because the house was massive, but we get there. emma and i grab water while dioxide grabbed a soda. we were underage and we weren't gonna underage drink. we proceed to make our way the living room where we find a seat on the couch.

"do y'all know who's house this is?" i ask while looking at all the people there. there were lots.
"uh i think its like a senior's" emma says.
"oh you know anything dixie?" i say.
"uh yeah i'm pretty sure its like joshes or something" dixie says.
"which one? richards?" emma asks.
"yeah..." dixie says.
my face drops when i realized. "does that mean ***** here" i say.
"uh yeah, speak of the devil" dixie says as she looks behind emma and i.
