REALITY

after about a half hour larray, james, and dixie has all arrived. it was about 2:00 already so we just started a movie while ordering lunch.

"what do you guys want to order" james says as he pulls out his phone.
"chick-fil-a?" i suggested.
"shore" james said.
"ew no i'm vegan i can't eat that" larray said.
"we all know your not, so quit lying" dixie said.
"just order james" emma said.
"well what do you guys want" james said.
"uh chicken nuggets and a small fry please" i said.
"same thing" emma said
"same for me too" dixie said.
"give me a large fry with a lemonade" larray said.
"you guys want any drinks?" james asked emma, dixie, and i.
"i'll have a coke" i said.
"give me a water" emma said.
"i'll have a coke too" dixie said.
"k it should be here in about half an hour" james said and goes back to watching the movie.
"a whole half hour. bitch this better be come fine dinning" larray says as he flips his hair.
"just shut up" dixie says.
"whatever" larray says.

we spend the next half hour watching the movie and while having some small talk. we hear the door bell ring meaning our food is probably here.

"i'll paypal you can you just pay for me" i say to james.
"yeah" he says.
"me too" emma yells as james walks up to the door to get our food.
"you can all just paypal me" james yells.
"ok!" dixie and emma yell at the same time.

james gives each of us our food. he's like the mom of the group and he accepts it. we all binge watch a couple movies for about 4 hours. eventually i got bored and suggested we should do something else.

"i'm bored" i say.
"honestly me too" emma says.
"well we should do something else. i feel like potato" larray says.
"well no duh" dixie says.
"we should cook something" james says.
"we just ate" emma says.
"yeah that was 4 hours ago and we have nothing else to do" james says.
"does anyone here actually know how to cook or bake or do whatever you do in the kitchen" larray says.
"i can bake" i say.
"since when bitch" larray says.
"since forever, i used to bake with my dad all the time before he got so busy.." i say.
"well lets do it" james says.

we all go to emma's kitchen. we were home alone.

"so what we cooking or baking.." dixie says.
"brownies?" emma says.
"not feeling chocolate" i say.
"weirdo" larray says.
"hey! I'm just not a fan" i say.
"well we could make cookies, i think i have all the ingredients"  emma says.
"shore, lets get started!" james says all enthusiastically.
"you are way too exited for this" dixie says.
"what type are we making emma" james asks.
"uh chocolate chip" emma says.
"y/n's weird as probably doesn't like them" larray says sassily talking to me.
"chocolate chip are fine. i just don't like super chocolatey things thank you very much LARRAY" i said.
"ok well let's get started"  emma says.

we got all the ingredients and we decided to make two different batches. james, dixie, and i are making one and larray and emma decided they were going to make one. james decided that he was going to read off the directions as we go.

"ok first thing we need to do is preheat the oven to 375 degrees" james says.
"I'll do it" larray says.
"we should probably just heat up one oven for all of us" emma says.
"yeah thats true" james says.
"how the fuck do you work this oven thing" larray says trying to start the oven.
"here I'll do it" i say. i walk over to the oven and it takes me about 30 seconds to get it started.
"bitch how did you do that" larray says.
"magic" i say sarcastically.
"ok second step is to mix the flour, baking soda and salt. you have to whisk it together" he says.
"salt? i thought we were going to make these sweet" larray says.
"uh well you have to add salt to balance it larrayyy" dixie says.
"ok how much do you have to put?" i ask, actually paying attention.
"2 and 1/4 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt" james says reading off the printed recipe.

emma and i measure and mix the first three ingredients together while dixie and larray try to  help, but severely fail.

"ok next you need to beat the butter and both types of sugar together" james says.
"how much?" emma asks.
"1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter, 3/4 cups of brown sugar and 2/3 cups of granulated sugar" he says.
"how about you try to do this step" emma and i say to larray and dixie.
"what's the point in adding both types of sugar. they probably taste the same. there both sugar" dixie says.
"i don't know ask Gordon Ramsey or something" larray says.

dixie and larray try to use the electric whisk to beat all the butter and sugar, but aren't doing so well, so emma and i took over again.

"these are actually looking pretty good besides the fact larray and dixie don't know how to do anything" james says.
"ok ok what's next" i say.
"next you have to add the 2 eggs while beating the mixture" james says.
"how about you guys add the eggs to each mixture while emma and i mix" i say to larray and dixie.
"sure" dixie says.

this part was actually pretty easy and larray and dixie didn't fail.

"ok add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and do the same thing that you did with the eggs" james says.

after doing that step james told us the nest step, "ok now add the flour mix slowly into the butter mix while mixing it with the electric mix" james said.

this step took us a little time to get the dough to the right consitancy, but we eventually got it.

"ok now you guys can add the chocolate chips" james says.
"all of them?" dixie asks.
"yeah, well one bag each" he replies.

after finishing the dough we made round balls of dough and placed them on two separate cookie sheets. then we placed them in the oven.

"ok now how long do we have to wait until there done" dixie says.
"about 15 minutes" james says.
"ok should we go finish the movie while we wait?" i ask the others.
"yes please that tired me out" larray says as we go back to the basement.
"you hardly even did anything!" emma says.
"girl watching you and y/n is a lot of work. it makes my eyes bleed" he says.
"yeah yeah" emma says and rolls her eyes.

the cookies are done in about 20 minutes because they needed a little extra time. in that time we finished the movie and we were just going on our phones when the time rang. we went upstairs to see how they were doing, and they looked pretty good so we desired to let them cool and then try them.

"ok 3, 2, 1" emma said as we're about to try the cookies.
"wait these are so good" larray said.
"yeah there not bad" dixie said.
"good job ladies" james said to emma and i.
"look at this bitch acting like we didn't do anything dixie" larray said
"you literally didn't anything tho" i said.
"whatever i don't want to have this conversation again" he said.
"you literally started it tho" emma said.

for the rest of the night we basically fooled around, are food, and made a tent to sleep in. simple, but was definitely one of the best nights i've had this summer.

uh this is the longest chapter i've made so far

it didn't really involve any boys or whatever, buts it's cute
normally takes me half an hour to write a chapter, but this one took 2 whole days 💀 aka my whole weekend
