once i got home the first thing i did was go talk to my mom. "mommmm" i yell. "in the kitchen" she yells back.
"hi so like i have question...again" i say. "yes, go on" she says. "so like there's this party and emma making me go, buttt i wanted to make sure that's okay with you and dad" i say. "i don't know if your dad will like the idea of that" she says while doing some type of cooking.
i take some summer classes and at the beginning of the summer i was kind of failing so my parents didn't let me do anything or go anywhere.
"but i've been getting all my grades up and they're pretty good" i say as i pull out my phone to check them. "my lowest grade is now a 94 %" i say looking at her for an answer. "ok i guess, but please be responsible and don't stay out late" she finally says. "i will. thank youuu" i say while running up the stairs. "you're welcome, when are you going? do you need me to drive you there?" she asked me. "um we're going at 7 and vinnie's gonna come pick me up" i say back. "who's "we"?" she says. "um well emma, larray, and dixie are going. they'll get there by themselves. i'm not sure about james, and vinnie said he'd tag along with me." i say while making my way back down the stairs as i forgot all the clothes we bought at the front door. "oh ok. tell me when your leaving." she says "will do" i say
as i make it to my room i put all the shopping bags on my floor. i grab some comfy clothes and go to the bathroom to take a quick shower. after taking my 15 minute shower i check the time to see its already 6 and decide to start getting ready. i start off with my makeup. i decide to do a simple and natural look. i don't like putting too much makeup on so it only takes about 15 minutes to do my makeup. after doing that i decide to take my towel out of my hair and let it air dry. i quickly throw on an outfit emma and i bought at the mall. my hair was still pretty damp, so i quickly blow dry it although it takes quite a bit of time since its rather thick. i look in the mirror to be brought to a fluffy mess. also known as my hair. I've mastered straightening and curling my hair in a short period of time if i do say so myself, so i quickly straightened my hair with a slight curl at the end. by the time I'm done getting ready i have about 10 minutes till vinnie said he'd be here.

REALITY
just as i read that text i here a doorbell ring followed by my mom calling me down.
"y/n! vinnies here" she says happily. she's always liked vinnie ever since she met him. so did my dad, so its a win. "i'm comiingggg" i yell as i stumble down the stairs
"hey" i said as i saw vinnie accompanied by my mom. "uh well i let you two go. have fun and be safe. vinnie take care of her! bye love you " my mom says. "will do mrs.y/l/n" vinnie says. "bye mommm love youuu" i say as we get to vinnie's car.
the party didn't start until 7:45 and it would take about thirty-five minutes to get there, so vinnie and i had about twent-five minutes to talk until we had to get driving. plus we would have the way there to talk so it would be good one on one time.
