LEXI'S POV:
"AHHHHHH!" malakas na sigaw ko sabay tapon ng baso na may laman na alak. "Hindi niyo mailalayo si Gabriel sa'kin. Hindi ako makakapayag." mariing usal ko saka inilabas ang cellphone at nag-dial ng number.
"[Hello...]" usal niya sa kabilang linya.
"Mom." iniusal ko ang pangalan niya at nawalan ng imik sa kabilang linya.
"[L-lexi?]" bakas ang gulat sa boses niya. "[Do you need anything, sweetheart?]" tanong niya mula sa kabilang linya.
"I want you to kill Gabriella Monteciara."
"[What!?]" gulat na anas niya na parang hindi sumasang-ayon sa gusto ko. "[Lexi, hindi tayo pwedeng magpadalos-dalos. Hindi ako pwedeng basta na lang pumatay.]" aniya at agad na kumulo ang dugo ko.
"Well then, iutos mo sa mga tauhan mo o sa kahit sino—wala akong pakealam!" sigaw ko sa kaniya. "Ang gusto ko mamatay siya hangga't maaga pa! Hindi ako makakapayag na ilayo niya sa akin si Gabriel!" galit na sigaw ko.
I heard her sighed before she speak. "[Okay, anak. Gagawan ko ng paraan.]" aniya at kaagad naman akong natuwa at ngumiti.
"Thanks, mom." I said, sweetly.
"[Anything for you, my dear daughter.]" she said. Wala naman na akong sasabihin kaya ibinaba ko na ang tawag.
Agad na rumiin ang hawak ko sa telepono ko at sumama ang tingin sa kung saan!
"Iisa-isahin ko kayong lahat. Akin lang si Gabriel." mariing usal ko.
"Anak?"
"M-mom." napalingon agad ako sa kaniya nang magsalita siya sa likod ko. "K-kanina ka pa diyan?" I asked, getting nervous because she might have heard of something.
"Uhhm, not really. I just heard that you were shouting at someone on your phone but, don't worry, I didn't know what you're conversation is about." mom gave me a smile.
"O-okay." I said while nodding my head. Guminhawa ang pakiramdam ko.
Hindi niya 'ko pwedeng marinig!
"Uhm, anak, I hope you won't mind me asking you this but..." she stopped as if she is hesitating to say it.
"Ask what?"
"Is it true that you have a relationship with Gabriel?" she asked.
Instead of being shock, I gave her a huge smile. "Yes, Mom. Matagal na." I said, feeling proud about it. But that feeling disappeared because instead of being happy for me, I see different emotions in her eyes. "Mom, what's wrong? Aren't you happy for me?"
"Anak, you know that he is your cousin's husband." I suddenly felt my blood boil when mom said that.
She also doesn't want me to be with Gabriel!
"And y-you have a relationship with a married man. Lexi—"
"You don't want me for Gabriel, either." I said with my bloodshot eyes, glaring at her! "You also want to take him away from me!" I shouted making her jump!
"Anak—"
"Shut up!" I shouted so loud, echoing in the house. "I will never let any of you, to take Gabriel away from me! Never!" I walked pass by her and went upstairs where my bedroom is. I entered my room and slammed my door so hard! I locked it so no one could enter. "Ang kapal ng mukha mong mangealam! Hindi naman kita nanay!" galit na sigaw ko!
