CHAPTER 48

GABRIEL'S POV:

I felt my head aching when I gained my conciousness. I tilted my head side ways and moved it because my neck hurts. Then, when I tried to touch my head, I couldn't lift my hands. My eyes immediately opened and saw a dirty surrounding and it's like it is an abandoned place. I looked at my back and realized that I am tied in a chair. Both of my hands are tied and also my feet. I tried to pull my hands and feet off the rope but it was too tight.

What is happening???

The last thing I remember...I went to the masion because something happened to...

My wife!

"Fuck!" I cursed and tried to pull my hands off the rope. I harshly pulled my own arms, thinking that I can get this rope off me. "Arrghh!" I groaned as I felt a sting on my wrist because of pulling too much but that did not stop me. I need to see my wife. I need to know if she's alright.

"Argh! Thylane!" I shouted so loud, hoping that she would hear me and answer back but no one did. "Tala!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs but still, I got no response from her.

"Ohh.." agad akong huminto at sinamaan ng tingin ang nagsalita. "Baby, you're awake." nakangiting ani Lexi habang lumalapit sa akin. "How's your sleep?" she said in a sweet voice then, she caressed my cheek but I pulled away.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I hardly said while gritting my molars.

"Aww.." kunwaring nalulungkot na aniya tapos biglang ngumisi. "Didn't you love the way I touch you before?" malanding tanong nito.

"That's because I was so stupid before that I thought I loved you.." I said while still glaring at her and pulling my hands.

She smirked wider. "Eh, 'yon naman talaga yung nangyari, eh..." she said. "You love me, Gabriel...you only love me. You could only love one person, and that's me." sabi niya na animong nagmamalaki at sigurado sa sinabi niya.

Doon ako ngumisi sa kaniya saka pinakatitigan siya ng mabuti. "Yes...I could only love one person.." I said while nodding. "And that is none other than my wife." mariing ani ko dahilan para mawala ang ngisi niya. "It's Thylane or no one, Lexi...she's the only person I love and the only one I will love in the future." mariing dagdag ko pa.

Her smirk faded. Alam ko kung gaano kalakas na sampal ng katotohanan 'yon para sa kaniya. Halata sa mukha niya na naiinis na siya pero pinilit niyang ngumiti sa akin.

"Okay, fine. Pagbibigyan kita." tumatangong aniya. "Sigurado naman akong makakalimutan mo rin siya after..." bigla ay ngumiti na naman siya. "I will never allow anyone to get you away from me, Gabriel...You are mine...so if I can't have you...then, no one can." seryoso niya iyong sinabi bigla pero hindi ko na iyon pinansin pa at sinamaan na lamang siya ng tingin habang pilit na hinahatak ang mga kamay ko.

"Ma'am.." sumulpot ang isang malaking lalaki na may hawak na armalite. May kasama siyang dalawa pang lalaki at tulad niya ay may nakasabit ring malalaking baril sa mga katawan nito. "Pinapasundo ho siya ni Boss.." anang lalaki.

Lexi raised her brow. "And why?" mataray na tanong nito.

"Kailangan lang ho...para mas mahirapan ang asawa niya." tugon ng lalaki dahilan para biglang kumulo ang lahat ng dugo ko dahil sa galit.

"What did you to my wife?!" I scowled. "Mga hayop kayo! Anong ginawa niyo sa asawa ko?!" sigaw ko habang nagpupumiglas na makawala sa pagkakatali. "Pakawalan niyo 'ko!!" galit na utos ko sa kanila pero walang sumunod sa akin.
