"Mama, where mama go?" Akai asked as he crawled around the room. Kuro and Aoi are with him doing their studies as they usually do, even though Randy and Nomi told them not to go overboard. Kuro looked at his little brother and chuckled.

"What's wrong, Akai? You want to see Otou-San and Okaa-San?" Kuro asked as he picked up his little brother. Akai nod his head.

"I want mama." He said happily. Kuro nod and stood up carrying Akai in his arms.

"Okay, let's go see Okaa-San. Aoi, can you take care of Shira while I'm gone?" He asked as he looked at his little sisters. Aoi nod as she took Shira in her arms and cuddling with her.

"Okay, big brother." She simply said and continued her studies. Kuro walked around the house to find his parents and arrived at the parent's room. Before he could even knock, he heard some semi loud yelling.

"Randy, I'm telling you! We have to or else the kids are in big danger!"

"Do you really think I don't know, Nomi?! I'm trying my hardest here!"

"Keep it up, I'll be in the Nomicon for more help."

"Just hurry up, will you?!"

Kuro gently covers Akai's ears to prevent him from hearing anything. Ever since Kuro and Aoi were adopted by Randy and Nomi, things hasn't been easy for the family. The fact that the biological children Akai and Shira has powers not many can control. Akai with his fire powers and Shira with her snow powers can bring quite the chaos.

Then, Kuro and Aoi came into the family. The two older kids were abused in the past before Randy and Nomi took them in as their own. Nomi gave both of them a special jewel that was filled with magic from their soul. Aoi got the power of water but Kuro unfortunately got the power of darkness. His is one of the most dangerous powers ever existed but Randy managed to help him controlling his powers.

Then... There was arguing. Randy and Nomi often argues about the children's safety since Kuro's powers can cause mayhem. Kuro wanted to run away from home and live alone for everyone's safety but his heart is telling him that everything will be okay. He's scared that he might be the reason the family will be torn apart.

"Baba?" Akai asked worriedly as he saw his big brother being sad. Kuro smiled painfully as he gently bring Akai downstairs.

"Do you want some snacks? I'll make some for you." Kuro said and placed Akai on the kitchen table. Akai felt sadness coming from Kuro as he makes some sandwiches for the siblings. Aoi and Shira saw his sadness and decided to comfort him.

"Brother Kuro, it's gonna be okay." Aoi said as she gently hugs her brother. Shira and Akai can only look from afar and hug him to calm him down. Seconds later, Kuro started to tear up. He couldn't handle his pain of loosing another family. Not again.

"I don't want to hurt you guys..." He said and cried. Aoi gently hugs him with a caring smile of a sister.

"It's okay, you are not going to hurt any of us. You care for us. Don't be sad now." She said gently. Akai and Shira crawled into Kuro's arms and giggled.

"We wove baba uro! (We love brother Kuro!)" They both said. Kuro smiled and hugged his siblings tightly.

"I love you guys too." He said. He immediately finished the snacks and gave them to eat.

"Eat up, we'll play some toys afterwards." He said happily and smiled to see his siblings enjoying the snacks.

After they all ate, they all started to play the toys that they had. Soon, they heard their parents coming downstairs looking tired and pissed off.

"I can't believe you did that." Randy said and drank the glass of water he got. Nomi sighed.

"Yeah yeah, I'm sorry, okay?" Nomi said as he sat against the kitchen countertops. The children only looked at their parents and sighed. This isn't gonna go so good. Randy noticed the children's looks and got worried.

"Kids, are you okay?" He asked as he went up to them with a caring smile. Kuro and Aoi couldn't tell them.

"We're fine, mommy! Just fine. Kinda tired of studying 10 books over there." Aoi said as she pointed towards the mountain of books next to them.

"Didn't we tell you not to go overboard?" Nomi asked. Aoi awkwardly smiled.

"Yeah, sorry, daddy." She said. Kuro didn't want to get questioned more so he got up from his spot.

"Um, I'm gonna take a shower. Yeah, uh, see you later, Otou-san, Okaa-San." Kuro said and rushed towards upstairs to his shower. Randy and Nomi got weirded out by the fact that Kuro just ran away. He don't usually do that.

"Did something happen?" Randy asked Aoi who's playing with Akai and Shira. She only shrugs it off.

"I don't know. He just seems tired from studying a lot like I did. He did made us some snacks." She said. Half lie, Nomi thought. She definitely knew the whole story.

"Hey, babe? Do you want me to check on him?" Randy asked as he whispered quietly. Nomi nod his head.

Randy got up and walked towards Kuro's bedroom. He was about to knock on the door when he heard a small crack.

"Ouch, oops... That's gonna leave a mark." He said. Randy opened the door to find Kuro wrapping his arm that was bleeding hard.

"Kuro, what happened?!" Randy asked worriedly as he checks on Kuro's arm. It's pretty bad. He used his ninja healing ability to heal Kuro's arm. He looked guilty.

"Kuro, tell me what's wrong." Randy asked, sounded angry or disappointed. Kuro wasn't sure which one. It could be both.

"O-Okaa-San... I'm fine. I accidentally fell down and tried to heal myself. That's all." He said awkwardly as Randy looked at him with disappointed eyes. He gulped a bit.

"Kuro, I'm asking you. Are you sure that you're okay?" Randy asked once more. He does sound angry. Kuro has no choice but to give in.

"Fine... I'm just, upset. I was scared that I might create a mayhem to the family... I have the darkness power. I don't want to hurt anyone else. I'm scared... I even overhead you guys arguing about our safety and... And..." Kuro started to tear up again. Randy felt guilty for making his son to tell the truth but he's happy that Kuro is concerning about the family.

"Kuro, the family business is pretty difficult, yes. But don't let yourself get into the problems at hand. You're only 13 years old, don't think to much. Okay?" Randy said to calm Kuro down. Kuro nod.

"Thanks, Okaa-San." He hugged Randy dearly. Randy hugged him back and simply kissed his forehead.

"Now, why don't you go explain everything to your dad?" Randy asked playfully as he nudged his son. Kuro chuckled.

"Alright, I'll go tell him." He said and rushed towards his dad downstairs. Randy smiled as he looked at the mirror nearby.

"Being a 19 year old parent is pretty tough... I hope he never knew about my age. It'll be too awkward." Randy whispered to himself as he closed the door of the bedroom.

Don't let them know. Only Nomi and the other knew. Don't let the kids know.
