Reap My Love

"Ugh, so boring." Nomi whispers to himself as he walks around reaping the souls from the graves. He looks at the individual souls and sighed.

"Up you go." He said as he look at the souls flying to the sky. One soul is having trouble getting out from the grave. That's new.

"At least there's something interesting." Nomi whispered to himself as he walks towards the soul and helped it out. The soul came out and shows a beautiful blue eyes that shines throughout him.

"Hello there, uh. Your name?" The soul asked in wonder. Nomi was surprised yes but he answered anyway.

"Nomi, pleasure to meet you." He said. The soul smiled.

"Awesome, my name is Randy! Nice meeting you too!" Randy said with a gleeful smile. Nomi felt something just then, but he wasn't sure what it was.

"How did you die?" Nomi asked as he checked the soul's identity. Randy went quiet but quickly smiled.

"I died from being stabbed." He said with a forceful smile. Nomi checked Randy's background and was shock.

"You got stabbed by your own mother?" He asked. Randy shook his head.

"No, it was my step mother. My mother died a long time ago." He said holding his fake smile. Nomi knew he wants to cry so he hugged the soul gently.

"Let it out." He said. Randy was almost at the edge of tears.

"But I-"

"Shh, it's all okay. Let it out." And with that, Randy cried out all of his painful memories, it was loud and hard. Nomi can feel all of his emotions and it was hold back for a long time.

"W-what did I do wrong?! What's wrong with me?!" Randy cried out. Nomi pets him gently and the soul calmed down. He look at the reaper with a small smile.

"Thank you, Nomi. You help me a lot. Say, can you hang out with me?" Randy asked curiously. Nomi shook his head.

"Unfortunately I can't. I have more souls to reap out." He said and looks at the town nearby him. Randy smiled.

"Can I come with you?" He asked, holding onto the heavy reaper sword. Nomi chuckles.

"Alright, follow me." He said and guided Randy to the town, reaping the dead souls and even talking to them. Randy felt upset from everything that's happening around him. Nomi looks at Randy and pet his hair gently, soothing his emotions. Randy smiled and felt better from it. He never felt pets so this is new to him.

"Thanks, Nomi. I love this feeling." Randy said, purring in pleasure. Nomi smiled.

"Anytime, little one. Let's go, you have to go up there." He said and guide Randy towards the two gates.

"This is it, young one. You're innocent, so you may go to the upper gate. Heaven." Nomi said. Randy hugged Nomi gently.

"Thank you, Nomi. May one day we see each other again." Randy said. Nomi was surprised but smiled anyway.

"May we see each other one day." Nomi said as he waved goodbye to Randy who's flying to Heaven. Nomi's face lit up a bit and continued his work while Randy awaits his next meeting with a new person he cares.
