"Nomi, can you do magic?" Randy asked curiously as Nomi was meditating in the air. He sighed gently before nodding his head.

"Yes, Randy. I can do magic." He said and continued his meditation.

"Can you show me?" Randy begged. Nomi looked at Randy with confusion.

"But you've went inside the Nomicon. Of course you've seen them." He said. Randy chuckled.

"I know, but I meant spells and all of those fantasy stuff!" Randy said in excitement. Nomi smiled at Randy's excitement and let him to discover more magic.

"Remember, Randy. There's some forbidden spells that you aren't allow to see or know. Whatever you do, don't touch it." Nomi warned before letting the boy wonder in the world of magic realm. He sighed as he went to his meditation pose.

"He's gonna touch it."

"I'm gonna touch it!" Randy exclaimed as he touched some of the items in the Nomicon. There were so many of them, he thought. No way this artifacts are actually magical- yup they're magical alright as he saw them floating in the air. He walk around and saw a box filled with sealed scrolls. He tried to open it but he couldn't do it. It must have been using sealed magic. Kinda strong too.

"How do I get to open this scroll?" He thought and look around with a small idea. He took the magic talons and scratched the seal, managed to open it perfectly.

"Nice!" He said and opened the scroll to see... Japanese words. No problem, he can speak and read Japanese, no big deal. As he read, he realized something big. It's kinda personal. Not a diary, but more like...

... Letters?

"Nomi..." Randy thought and continued to read it. It's all about Nomi's life and he wrote it in these scrolls form of letters for his family to read. But, his family died so he must have been writing these as if he was talking to them. Poor Nomi...

With Nomi, he can feel something is going on in the Nomicon. Of course he can feel it. He's part Nomicon after all. After a while, he realized that Randy is touching something he's forbidden to know or even look.

"Randy, don't you dare-!" Nomi went inside and was a bit too late. Randy finished reading all of the scrolls he wrote for his family as a way to talk with them. Randy didn't just read his personal life, did he? Randy looked at him with a smile, but Nomi knew it's a wounded one.

"O-oh, sorry about reading the scrolls, Nomi. I'm a bit curious and... I finally found out. What you truly feel about me. I'm sorry... I'll go now." Randy said with a broken smile and left the Nomicon. Nomi quickly gather up his scrolls, and felt like he should read it again as a refresher. There's a few of them, the important ones are the ones he read.

Dear Family,
I hope everything it going well for all you. True, things has been... Interesting but I must say that it's not that bad. To be honest, I kinda like this. But, I wish I can just be with you guys again, a happy family with a happy ending.

Things are smoothly for you guys, right? I'm sure of it. You guys are good people, good humans, unlike me. I'm just a prankster and a nobody. Saigon Nii-San is right. I'm no warrior and now I'm cursed as a ninja guidance and mentor. Perhaps Heaven is more better than this Earth.

Oh yeah, another thing. Mother, father, brothers, sisters, grandpa, I'm sorry for whatever I've done to you. Ever since that day, I couldn't help it. I needed some time and I'm sorry I couldn't save you back there. I miss you guys, and I love you so much. That's all for the first letter. I'll write more soon. Bye, I'll see you later.

-Nomi

"Okaa-San, Otou-san..." Nomi thought as he opened the next few scrolls to this message.

Dear family.
Heaven is peacefully, right? This Earth isn't. True, I feel like I have what I need, but I hated it when you're not here with me. Ever since that curse, I can't help but cry over it. I'm now a teacher and a senior to the ninjas in training. The recent Ninja, Randy is really difficult to handle. I can't believe he's this stupid.

"Don't go into someone else's house"

And he went inside. Stupid, right? I can't believe I choose him as a ninja. Why did I choose him in the first place? I'll admit he did a lot of tight things and he did fix his mistakes but can't he just try to not make any of them often? It's so troublesome and I felt like he might be a total faikure. Ugh, so annoyinh. Sigh, I'll write more soon, guys. See you later.

-Nomi

Nomi felt awful. True Randy was stupid but he's being improving day by day. His regret filled his mind and heart as he immediately went downstairs to see Randy watching a movie on Ninjas vs Yokai. What the hell do they even think? Yokai vs ninjas? Totally weird and unoriginal. At least there's contents, he thought a bit.

Randy was really into the movie though. Nomi slowly walks towards him with regret. He hold onto Randy who flinched.

"Oh, hey... Did you clean it up? Sorry, I shouldn't have touch it." Randy said and continuing to watch the movie. Nomi felt guilt in him and immediately hug him.

"I'm sorry, that letter was a long time ago... I did wrote what I personally think about you after a few scrolls from it. You're an amazing ninja, Randy. I promised you, you're the best of all ninjas I've trained in a long time." Nomi said and caressing Randy slowly. Randy smiled and hug him back gently.

"Thank you, Nomi. Wanna cuddle while watching another movie? I can open a funny one?" He asked as he opened the selection. Nomi's eyes got interested on a certain animated show about ninjas.

"How about that one? The ninja thing." Nomi pointed at the show. Randy nod and opened it as they both proceed to watch it while eating popcorn. There's the moment in the movie of funny moments, sad moments and even confusing moments. Both Randy and Nomi loved the movie and enjoyed it.

Nomi looked a Randy who's focusing on the movie. He smiled as he gently play with his hair, then kiss his forehead. Randy was stunned but smiled as he leaned onto Nomi, making himself comfortable.

"Thank you, Nomi."

"Your welcome, Randy."
