He looked exactly how I remembered him.
In my diary, I wrote down all of his features so I would never forget.
His long strands of hair that covered his forehead, the grey eyes that captivated me from the start, and his small cute nose.
I missed everything about him.
"Levi."
It was silent. He just stood in the doorway and stared at me.
But the way he looked at me was different from before.
It was almost like he was angry with me.
Or worse.
"Need something?"
What-
"Do you need something? You said my name."
I squinted my eyes in disgust. He's pretending to not know me at all.
He broke eye contact with me and gave his attention to Yelena.
"Hey. How long are you going to keep that thing on?" He said referring to the fake beard she had glued onto her face.
My heart sank to my stomach. Does he not recognize me? Did he forget about me?
Did he fall in love with someone else?
Eren was sitting with his head down on a bench near Zeke and I.
He was handcuffed and everyone had been looking at him like he was a monster.
I was handcuffed as well, while Zeke had his arms and legs cut off. I found that to be pretty reasonable. They didn't trust any of us.
Which makes me wonder why we're on this ship in the first place.
"What's the matter? Everyone else likes it," Yelena stripped off her fake beard and threw it on the ground.
Zeke nudged my arm, "Don't worry about him. Captain Levi here looks like he hasn't slept in weeks."
Levi ignored Zeke's comment.
Both Armin and Mikasa were in the room as well. They also didn't greet me or Zeke.
I don't blame them at all.
In fact, I'm a little relieved that they didn't. I wouldn't really know what to say to either of them.
Considering Eren's recent actions, I can only assume they're hurting inside.
"Are they still screaming in there?" Levi tsked.
After a few seconds after finishing his sentence, Jean bursted into the room holding two Marleyan children by their hair.
"Gabi. Falco. Why are you here?"
The kids shouted back to him, "Why? What about you, sir?! You're still alive!"
The girl spoke, "How could you have been captured by these devils?!"
Levi approached Jean, "Who are these brats?"
"They killed Lobov and used his equipment to board the ship. And then this girl here, shot Sasha. I don't think she's going to make it..." He trailed off the last part and swallowed back his tears.
Another person came out of the cabin. I recognized them to be Hange from the Scouts.
"Well, would you say everything went to plan, Zeke Yeager?"
I turned to look at Zeke who had his eyes on the two kids.
"For the most part, but there were a number of miscalculations."
