*4 year time skip*

"(Y/n), are you ready for today?" Zeke asked me.

"Yes sir." I nodded.

"Good, make sure you wear the proper clothing that I assigned to you."

"Okay."

Today was the day that Willy Tybur would be presenting a play in Liberio.

Zeke excused me from the room to continue his conversation with the upper ranks in the military.

He didn't always treat me like shit, but in front of Commanders, Generals, and Upper Rank military personnel, I was only viewed as his pet.

I was ordered to stay by Zeke's side throughout the entire evening.

The only reason I was released from prison two years ago was because Zeke had gotten permission from the Commander to use me as an assistant.

He is the War Chief here on Marley, he has earned a considerable amount of respect from the military and government.

I finally caved into his requests. He wanted me to give up arguing and to just let him save me from prison.

After realizing my only options left in life were to either rot in a prison cell or live as Zeke's assistant until he dies, I knew I had to play my cards right.

I wasn't going to give up just yet. It took a long time for me to come around, but I did.

I finished getting ready and I went to put the outfit on that Zeke sent over.

It was odd.

There was an all black outfit including a black shirt, black pants, a large trench coat, and military boots.

Without asking any questions, I slipped on the mysterious outfit and headed out the door.

Zeke was waiting outside my housing unit smoking a cigarette. He was having a conversation with another man about the play.

I kept my head down and minded my own business.

After having a number of altercations with people in Liberio claiming 'they want nothing to do with me' and that I 'shouldn't even be alive', I've learned to stay out of all conversations with anyone other than Zeke.

We walked towards the stage and I took a seat in the front row.

Colt Grice greeted the two of us and started a conversation with Zeke.

The seats were filling up and it was closer to showtime.

"Hey, how've you enjoyed the festival?" Zeke turned towards a group of people. Pieck, Porco, and three children were in the group.

I haven't spoken to either Pieck or Porco at all.

I've been out for two years, so I have run into them from time to time, though I've learned to just keep to myself.

But I can't help but glance at Porco and wonder if he's doing alright.

"Wait. Where's Falco?" Colt asked the group.

A young boy responded, "He ran off a minute ago saying that he found someone he knew."

"Hm? There he is," Pieck pointed in the direction of a small blonde boy running up to us.
