!!!TW: Talk of PTSD, Depression, Anxiety
"Battle of Heaven and Earth." The infamous title for the massacre that occurred. The blood shed, the faces of the dead, and the empty world that remained.
Everyday, you remember the beautiful face of Eren Yeager.
You learned of the sacrifices he made to save everyone on Paradis.
To this day, you still don't feel worthy of living. You were spared out of true luck, but your people had put Eldians through hell. The consequences of the war were ones that could not be easily healed.
History has been made and this story will be told for thousands of years to come.

three years later
"Miss (y/n), did you want to go see the fireworks tonight?"
Falco wore his light blue suit with a crisp white turtleneck underneath. He insisted on seeing the fireworks every year of the festival.
"You did promise him, I remember! It was actually last Tuesday when we came over," Gabi smirked at her small accomplishment to remember a small occurrence. She was always one to applaud herself for everything she did.
The two children visited you and Levi frequently. They had once told you that they liked coming over for meals and they enjoyed listening to Levi's stories about life inside the walls. Many of them weren't happy ones. He tried his best to honor those who died in battle while still holding his composure.
"Only if Levi feels up to it. You know how this time of year is for him..." you answer the two kids.
"Let me go talk to him," Gabi pushed past the front door and ran down the long hallway to Levi's work room. His work room wasn't necessarily for work, as he retired sometime ago. He picked up a hobby in writing.
Your home on Marley was a fair size for the two of you. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Your home was filled with books. The two of you loved reading on the porch. Potted plants and flowers were spread throughout the whole house. The smell of pumpkin and sweet cinnamon lingered in the air for comfort.
Even though you and Levi hadn't gotten married yet, he insisted on living together as soon as it was possible.
He did not want to go another day without you. His PTSD was at its worst just a couple years ago. Night terrors that led to insomnia, anxiety, depression, and the serious physical conditions that followed.
Levi was now blind in one eye and he had a severe spinal injury that requires him to use a wheelchair when he's walking for a long period of time. He'll be able to use a cane soon with more physical therapy and treatments.
Gabi and Falco have become part of our small family, like the kids we don't have.
"I'm sorry, you know how Gabi is. I told her that it wasn't a big deal if you guys didn't want to go, but she just can't take no for an answer," Falco blushes in embarrassment for the young girl.
"It's okay, let's just pray his answer is yes," you gave the blonde boy a smile.
You both sat in the living room waiting to see if Gabi was able to convince Levi.
"Not to get personal or anything, but when do you plan on getting married?" Falco blurted out.
Your face flushed red, "Well-"
Loud footsteps echoed the house, "HE SAID YESSS!" Gabi ran into the living room with her arms raised up in victory. "It took a lot of convincing to get that old man out of the house, but I did it!"
