Out of everyone here on the battlefield, Zeke is the most weak and cowardly.

He is not physically strong and he can only win this if his comrades pull through.

My breathing grew shaky as I remembered his words, "I'm willing to spare your life in exchange for your cooperation."

Fuck that and fuck him.

I know I submitted the first time to him, but I had to protect Levi.

Though now, it seems he didn't want to hold up his end of the bargain, I won't either.

Pieck. She was standing behind Zeke, assisting him and giving in to his orders.

As she always has. I wish I could have talked to her more. I wonder how she's been doing.

Even though right now her goal is to kill everyone right now, I can't help but feel sorry for her.

Everyone followed the plan that Erwin announced. Some will focus the Armored titan and the others will protect the horse.

As for what we plan on doing next, we haven't got a clue.

Levi has left me now to perform his duties to protect the horses below.

I caught up with Erwin who was standing alone on a section of the wall.

We gave each other a nod and looked to our right to see the Armored staring right at us.

Neither of us moved.

He slid back down the wall to chase Eren who was now in his titan form.

I watched Levi carefully, I won't be able to do much from up here, but if I needed to help him I would.

He was standing on top of a house as I watched him, he turned around and looked up at me.

Erwin was lost in thought. His expression wasn't changing, but I could tell that something was eating him up.

"Sir, is there anything I could do to be of more use?"

"Just plan to stay alive. Whatever you do, don't leave him by himself."

I turned my attention back on Levi. He's so precious to me. I won't leave his side, not ever.

I could hear the thunder spear explosions from behind. They seemed to be handling Reiner according to plan.

It was silent on that side for a few minutes, until Reiner let out a nasty roar.

On cue, Pieck rushed towards Zeke and he picked up a barrel and threw it towards the wall.

"Thats-"

"Bertholdt." Erwin finished my sentence.

He came out the barrel and I assumed he would transform midair.

Armin was attempting to negotiate with him.

It won't work. When I spoke to Bertholdt, he was like an entirely different person.

So many things were starting to come together.

Their plan was working. Zeke was throwing rocks towards the horses, Bertholdt was now transforming into the Colossal. There was little time to think.

I looked at Erwin, waiting for him to say something. Instead, he was gasping at the bloody sight below us.

He pulled my arm and we both jumped down using his ODM gear.

As we reached the ground Levi approached the two of us.

"Are you hurt, (y/n)? Are you okay?" Levi reached for my cape and adjusted the front.

"No, I'm not hurt. Are you?"

"No. Not physically at least."

He turned to Erwin, "How's it looking?"

"Terrible," Erwin replied, "The front line of houses is gone. He decimated them. If he keeps throwing those, everything will be leveled. We won't have anything left to hide behind."

"And we can't retreat to the other side of the wall?"

"No. The Colossal Titan is already heading this way, setting fire to everything in his path. Theoretically, we could scale the wall to evade the stones, but the horses can't. We retreat here, and there's no hope for victory."

"What happened to Hange's group? Is Eren all right?"

"I don't know. Most of them are gone. Caught up in the explosion occurred. We've sustained a great number of casualties."

The two of the continued their talk to work up a plan.

I was clueless on what to do next. I felt useless.

As they talked, rocks were coming at us quickly.

Levi saw them coming and grabbed my arm to move me away from the line of fire.

He pulled me into his chest and held onto me until all of the rocks hit the ground.

The screams.

The nasty, loud, wretched screams that came from the soldier made me feel sick to my stomach.

"(Y/N), go back up the wall using my ODM gear. I need to talk to Levi privately."

"Understood."

I made my way back up the wall.

I know that there are so many things to focus on, but I kept my eyes glued to both Zeke and Pieck.

Erwin grouped up his soldiers and they made their move. They all got up on their horses and charged towards the Beast.

I knew it was going to get ugly, but to come up with such a gruesome diversion? Erwin really is a sick and devoted man.

My eyes searched for Levi, hoping he wasn't on a horse.

I saw the titans in the field start to drop like flies.

There he was. Heading towards Zeke.

Everyone on their horses were down in an instant.

Everything went by in a flash.

Eren and Armin were fighting the Colossal and Levi was fighting Zeke.

This was going to have an ugly end.
