Chapter 30

Amelia POV

It had been three days since my dinner. Every morning at 8 am on dot Henry would pick me up for work and we would  go to breakfast after that we went to the office. Henry always came upstairs to my place to get me, even though I told him that he don't have to come upstairs and he can wait in the car. Yesterday we ran into Shawn, on our way out of my place. He told me that he's going to Milan for a show and he'll be walking on the runway. He didn't spoke a word to Henry. They're just nodded each other. It was awkward.

Honesly, I didn't wanted to talk to Shawn after his comment at the dinner. He had never apologized to me and he's just pretended nothing had happened. I did tried my best to avoide him.

Everything was going really well between me and Henry. When we are at the office Henry would came out of his office just to kiss me and said "I miss you." He would do that many times a day.

Is this real? Is this really going on? Or Am I just dreaming? This is too good to be true. I was very happy since a long time. I was dead for a long time now I felt alive. I found myself smiling like a moron when I'm think about Henry.

We were becoming official at the office too. On occation I would run into Mr. Standford in the elevator at the office, he would always hit on me. The guy was just high on himself. He would come closer to me and say inappropriate things to me like "What are you doing with Windsor? Dump his a$$. I can give you the time of your life."

"Mr.Standford, who I'm with is none of your business. May I remind you that I'm at work and there's a security camera in the elevator. And I'm sure if Mr. Windsor found out about this he wouldn't be too happy."

"Do you think I'm afraid of him. And I can tell you that I'm always get what I want." He's snigger.

"There's always the first time Mr.Standford." I would get out from the elevator.

Ugh! What a jerk!

And I thank to god that Henry didn't found out about Mr.Standford. Yet. Henry's very possessive and jealous man. He's already having Nik to follow me a like puppy which I'm starting to annoy. On Tuesday, evening I was running around the block for skipping out on the gym on Sunday morning. Nik was following me his suit. Nice was to blend in Nik!

"Nik, I swear if you kept following me I'll pepper spray you or scream." I lied.

I wouldn't do that to him. He's a nice guy.

Nik stopped on his track from following me. He's scratched his head "Um...I'm sorry Ms.Goldsmith. I'm just doing my job."

"Ugh!" I rolled my eyes and start running a few steps. Nik followed. I stop and turned to look at him. He was also stopped from his step. I walked again. He walked again behind me. I was doing it on purpose just to annoyed him. I started to walked slowly and run like hell. I was in my sweats and sneakers and he was in his fancies shoes and suit. I hide in the alley way behind the dumpster from him. Nik stopped and searching for me looking all over the roads expect from the alley way. A few seconds later he took out his phone from his pants suit and dial a number.

"Um...Mr.Windsor, I lost Ms.Goldsmith!" He scratched his head again. I covered my mouth with my hand so that I would make a sound when I'm laughing. I laugh so hard.

"I'm sorry Mr.Windsor. I was running behind her. But she tricked me sir."

I pressed my belly with both of my hand a laugh so hard without making a sound.

"Yes, sir. I'm in my suit. I didn't know she was going running before she came out in her jogging clothes. I was waiting outside her building like you asked sir."
