Chapter 41

Henry POV

I took Mia to the hospital and get her hand check up. I was relief it was just a sprin. The doctor gave her some pain killers to take if her hand is hurting. Put bandage on her hand.

The whole time Mia wince in pain when the nurse mending her hand I was thinking about murdering Standford. She hurts her hand because of Standford.

You gonna get it Fu*ker!

I took her to buy her new phone after taking her to the hospital. She kept saying not to buy her new phone. But I didn't listen to her this time.  Finally she gave in chose a new handset.

Thank God!!! She's not arguing with me anymore!!!

I took her back to her place like she asked.

She fished out her keys in her bag with one hand struggling but I took her bag from her and took the keys.  She didn't say or react anything when I'm going through her bag for the keys.  I couldn't help but smile when I found half eaten snickers bar and her lip stick. Reminding me of the cherry flavored on her lips when I kissed her. 

When will she let me kiss again? I felt like it had been an ages.

“What are doing home at this hour?"

We turned around to see Clark holding a bag of groceries in his hands and was wearing a suit and glasses and standing behind us.

“What are you doing? Did you go shopping?" Mia asked confused.

“Umm... Yeah! Um...I invited Lucy for dinner. I'm going to cook for her." He answered his face red.

“Lucy?  Who's Lucy?" I asked because the name kinda ring a bell.

“Your receptionist!" Clark answered. 

“You're going to cook?  You never cook for me!" Mia said with a pout. 

“OH MY GOD!!!" Clark screamed all the sudden making Mia and I jumped.

“What happened to your hand???" Clark asked putting the groceries bag on the floor and gently taking Mia's injure hand and rubbed gently and smoothly. Making me angry a bit. 

You got girlfriend idiot! Stay away from mine! 

“I punched Standford." Mia answer a little proudly.

“Who's Standford?" Clark asked. 

“It's a CEO of another trading company. He's a rich playboy hitting on Mia since she's started working for me." I gave him the answer.

“Ohh!!! I'm so sorry Boo! Serve him right though." He hugged Mia like I was not standing there.  And she hugged him back. 

“Oi, you got girlfriend. Stay away from mine!" I pulled them apart abruptly.

Clark sniggered.

“I bring you dinner baby.  I'm cooking lamb."

“Stop calling her baby!  She's my baby." I spat at Clark which he ignored.

Why am I acting like a little jealous teenage boy?

“Thank you Clark." Mia reply Clark. 

Mia waved to Clark and we went inside her place and Clark went into his place. 

“Would you like help changing clothes?" I asked hoping I could see her naked again. The thought of her being naked making my dick twitch.

“No. I can manage."

She turned me down flat. 

“You should get back to the office. You have meeting in an hour." She reminds me. 

“It's ok. I can cancel it."

“No.  If you miss this meeting you will lost 2 millions."

“I'm fine. I can manage. I'm just going to sleep. I think the pain killers is working."

She smoothly blew me off.

“Are you sure? I can stay here." I offered again.

“No, I'm just going to rest a bit." She blew me off again.

“OK."

“Call me if you need anything." I leaned to kiss her but she quickly turned her head and my kiss landed on her soft cheek.

“When will you let me kiss again Mia?" I asked sad and angry at myself the same time.

“When I'm ready!" She answered sadly her eyes watery but she quickly turned her face away.

“I'm sorry I left Mia. I'm really very sorry. What can I do to make you not hate me?" I asked.

“I don't hate you Henry. And I don't want to talk about that night again." She said.

“I think you should go.  I don't want you to miss the meeting."

She said changing the subject. Apparently she don't want to talk about it and I don't want to take a chance of making her hate me when I'm deeply in love with her.

“OK. Call me if you need anything. Bye Mia and I'm very sorry. " I said good bye and left. 

I left the building with rage and sadness combined. I'm pissed off with myself and more pissed off Standford for harassing Mia and Mia hurting herself to protect herself. My rage head towards to Standford and I was out for blood.

“Nik! Take me to Standford!" I ordered Nik. Which exactly he did.
