Chapter 2

The call of the future heroes was fairly quick and smooth. As soon as all his students gathered, Blue Manta greeted his colleagues and left the refectory, followed by his class.

It was the turn of Darkeas's students. A woman this time, known as Sutra, stepped forward too.

"I would only read the list once." She barked. "So open your ears wide. "

She began to list the names marked on her sheet and the students stood immediately in front of her, in a much less orderly row than that of the young heroes. Kotaro was called and rushed after the others, smiling at his friend. Nanaya was waiting his turn. He listened intently to each name. But Sutra ended without calling him. He immediately raised his arm to be noticed, although his dark Darkeas uniform was perfectly visible in the midst of the pink ones of the future magical girls.

"Sutra-sensei." The teen called respectfully. "You should recheck your listing. You didn't call me.

"What is your name ?" Growled the adult.

"Uchiri Nanaya. "

Uchiri's name raised a whisper in the room. Unlike many others, Nanaya's father made no secret of his identity and everyone associated the name with the evil genius Experion. Sutra carefully reread each name on her list and frowned. Shadow, the Headmaster, walked over to check for himself.

"He must be there." He whispered for his employee. "He has been registered since birth.

"If it's not on the list I'm not going to make it up!" Scolded the young woman. 

Shadow snatched the paper from her hands to go through it in turn. Automatically, their magical girl colleague also glanced at her own list. Quite naturally and without thinking of the consequences, it was she who exclaimed:

" I got it ! It's on mine! "

All eyes turned to her. Angel Ferret, a well-known magical girl, accompanied by her guardian in the form of a winged ferret. Her big smile faded when she realized the extent of the problem. A heavy silence fell over the huge hall.It was finally Starlight who approached the young woman to verify her claim. He raised an eyebrow, surprised to find that "Uchiri Nanaya" was well noted. How could such a mistake have happened? The hero director sighed.

"We're going to clear this up." He said. "In the meantime, Uchiri, you will attend Aitori's class. This is only temporary, the time to find a solution. "

Nanaya clenched his fist as he glanced around. He didn't want to be in that class. There were only girls. And his father had told him more than once about how annoying and silly magical girls were. He often called them fools and didn't take them seriously at all.

The teen watched Darkeas's class leave, not failing to meet his friend's encouraging gaze. He wanted to scream. To explode, to insult these incompetent people and unleash his best inventions on them. If his father ever found out about that... he would certainly blow up the building, and even the whole town. Nanaya was just shaking at the idea.He found himself forced to follow the class of girls, who seemed visibly terrified of his presence. They left a huge gap between them and him.

All the students now left with their head teacher, the three directors found themselves alone in the refectory.

"If I expected..." Starlight huffed.

"It's up to you to manage the registrations!" Growled Shadow. "Mr. Superior Director!"

"Do not start. We should get into the problem sooner rather than find a culprit, don't you think?"

Shadow gritted his teeth. His colleague was still rather relaxed and seeing him so serious was unusual. He couldn't help but smile, albeit concealed by his scarf.
