Amaretto whistled to indicate the start of the duel.

Makami and Rena stood face to face, the tension in the air was palpable. Makami, known in the combat class for her lightning-fast strikes and fierce determination, took a deep breath and focused. Her eyes narrowed, fixing on Rena, who exuded a calm and confident air. She moved gracefully, her every movement intentional and precise.

As the fight began, Makami throwed herself forward in a blur of motion. She unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks, as she sought to overwhelm Rena. But Rena dodged and weaved with the grace of a dancer, her body moving effortlessly to escape her attacks.

Rena fought back, making good use of her own skills, her strikes precise and calculated. She countered Makami's aggression with skillful footwork and well-timed blocks in smooth, efficient movements. Her strikes were like a flowing river, each one finding its target with unerring precision.

The fight continued for a while, the clash of their fists and the dull thud of their strikes echoing throughout the arena. It seemed like they were even more heated than the previous fight. Each wanted to prove to the other that they were worth much more than during training. Makami's raw power clashed with Rena's finesse, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Each fighter seemed to anticipate the other's movements, their bodies moving in perfect synchronization.

As the battle raged, Makami and Rena began to show signs of fatigue. Sweat ran down their faces, but their determination remained unwavering. They had exceeded their physical limits, their combativeness refusing to weaken.

With a final burst of energy, Makami unleashed another devastating combination of punches and kicks. But Rena, her instincts honed to perfection, was able to quickly dodge her attack and launched a lightning-fast strike at her exposed flank. Makami staggered back, momentarily stunned.

Seizing the opportunity, Rena performed a dazzling kick, her leg whirling through the air like a cyclone. She hit Makami's chest, sending her crashing to the ground. The spectators broke the silence with their frenzied applause as Rena stood victorious, her breathing heavy and her eyes bright with triumph.

The fight was over, but the respect between Makami and Rena was evident. Rena joined her comrade to help her get up with a simple smile. Makami didn't know sign language but greeted her respectfully, although stunned by the last knock. She rubbed her chest painfully and grimaced, but grabbed the magical girl's hand, faced one of the cameras and raised it high so that she received thunderous applause.

They were able to return to the locker room to rest after their intense fight. Mineko was waiting for her girlfriend there and congratulated her, hugging her. She had missed a small part of the fight, because she had been looking for some snacks for Rena, a cold bubble tea and some treats to help her recover from her duel. She took care of her while listening to Nakamara's congratulations and the announcement of the next fight. Kōtarō was next. He would fight Sean Mcgowan.

Once again, a short rest period was granted before the next duel. Nanaya and the others had time to join Kōtarō in his locker room to wish him good luck. As usual, he simply rejected their encouragement, except that of Nanaya. Their friends shrugged their shoulders and left the room after wishing him victory all the same.

Nanaya stayed a little. He approached Kōtarō, motioned for him to bend down and placed a quick kiss on his lips.

"For good luck," he declared with an angelic smile.

Then he also left the place to let his childhood friend get ready. He didn't see how red Kōtarō had become. He muttered an "idiot" that Nanaya couldn't hear and then emptied a bottle of water over his own head.

The moment arrived. It was time for Kōtarō to fight too. He left his locker room and entered the arena to face his opponent.

He looked a little better at Sean, who had an imposing and solid figure. His ash blonde hair, cut short, gave him a robust appearance, contrasting with his soft blue eyes.

No sooner had the whistle sounded than the fight began with a lively exchange of kicks and punches, each blow executed with precision and speed. Kōtarō relied on his agility, dashing around the court, dodging Sean's powerful punches and launching calculated counterattacks. Sean, however, was showing off his raw strength, delivering strikes that reverberated throughout the room.

As the fight intensified, the fighters engaged in a fascinating display of skill and strategy. Kōtarō's lightning-fast kicks and acrobatic maneuvers kept Sean on his toes, forcing him to adapt and defend against the onslaught. Sean, relentless in his pursuit, used his raw power to attempt to overpower his opponent and bring him down with a series of devastating blows.

The clash of their contrasting styles reverberated throughout the arena, each strike resonating with the fighters' energy and determination. Spectators watched in awe as the two participants clearly did not want to give the other a chance, their grunts and efforts echoing in the large enclosed space.

As the fight continued, a deep mutual respect developed between Kōtarō and Sean. They recognized each other's strength and skills, smiling as they fought. Despite the intensity of their fight, there was an unspoken bond between them, a silent recognition of their relentless quest for perfection.

"Not bad!" Sean scolded, delivering a blow that almost made the ground shake, "you really are a worthy opponent!"

"I return you the compliment!" Kōtarō replied in semi-perfect English, skillfully avoiding the attack, "but I won't let you win, buddy!"

"Ah! I hope so ! I don't intend to do you a favor either!"

Sean, fueled by this sudden friendly rivalry, unleashed a devastating punch, nearly sending Kōtarō crashing into a nearby wall. Kōtarō managed to remain standing and so the fight continued. He countered with a series of rapid strikes, testing Sean's endurance.

As the fight intensified, Kōtarō and Sean exchanged a flurry of blows, their movements blending into a blur. Each strike carried the weight of their relentless training and fierce rivalry.

The two fighters, exhausted but refusing to back down, entered into a final conflict of wills. Their strikes grew stronger and more desperate as they dug deep into their energy reserves.

The fight reached its climax as Kōtarō and Sean simultaneously delivered one final powerful strike, their fists colliding with resounding impact. The force generated caused a shockwave, throwing up a cloud of sand.

As the dust settled, Sean was panting heavily as he lay on the ground. Kōtarō looked like he was about to collapse, but he was still standing. Amaretto then whistled the end of the fight, while applause rang out outside the building.
