Nanaya's mind was clouded when he woke up. He heard several voices in the office next door. That was what woke him up. He stood up, rubbing his eye, and walked over to the office.

"It's an infirmary." Growled Phen-X. "I can't let in so many people at once!"

Nanaya opened the curtain. Mineko and Rena were there. They had come directly as soon as the class was released, without even telling their other friends. Mineko noticed her friend and rushed over to hug him.

"Nana-chan!" She exclaimed. "We were all worried! The whole class is waiting in the hallway."

"All?" Nanaya muttered, surprised.

"Of course ! We have all been questioned, we and our guardians as well. Samfunia-sensei is sure the culprit is not in our class. She thinks of a first year."

"Oh..."

"Do not worry. We're all mad at the person who did that. The teachers will let their guardians patrol the halls during breaks in case the culprit wants to start over."

Nanaya huffed. He felt relieved that his class was not really the source of these insults. But he mentally vowed to try harder to become a better mate, even though Mineko assured him he already was.

After several days of traveling, Meltdown had brought the new recruits back to Omaezaki. The floating mansion was anchored not far from Suruga Bay. Okuhei had come by boat to collect them from the harbor, in order to take them to the structure. The new ones were searched as soon as they got on board to make sure they were not carrying any weapons. Meltdown hadn't lied. Shoko saw several children playing on the outside deck.

She took it upon herself to lead them to the meeting room, although she was accompanied by several men. Lord was there, settled across his seat, receiving a massage from his trusty bodyguard.

"Ah. Kitani-chan." He said, settling down nicely. "What are you bringing us?"

"Particularly promising recruits." Assured the woman, kneeling on the ground. "I am sure you will like them, my lord."

"That's for me to judge. "

He got up and walked over to them to look at the new ones. The presence of a child didn't even seem to surprise him. He planted himself in front of Shoko first.

"Invisible." He muttered. "This is interesting. Several of my men already have this mutation, but you can never get enough spies."

"I saw an invisible child on the bridge." Shoko replied simply.

"Little Fushiko."

"You don't send the children on a mission, I hope!"

"Of course not. Unless they want to follow their parents. But I prefer them to stay here."

The answer seemed to suit Shoko who just nodded. Lord turned to Kohi, raising an eyebrow. The young man was particularly covered, and had not removed, neither his coat nor his gloves, on entering the floating mansion.

"So isn't my home sufficiently heated?" The boss asked.

"It is, certainly." The white haired boy muttered. "But I am chilly. Really chilly."

"I'll keep that in mind if you ever stay."

"If we ever stay?"

"I'm not forcing anyone to serve me. And anyone who wants to join me has to go through some ... formalities. In short. And you, you look very young."
