He was used to it. It happened sometimes. The wound was not completely healed over the years. And sometimes an opening formed. Nanaya looked at the knot of his uniform on which a drop of blood had fallen. He lifted his hand to his face and slid it under his hair to feel the sore that had opened. Right on the edge of the machine.

Kenji approached, worried.

" What's happened ?!" He exclaimed. "Did I hurt you? "

He lifted his arm, to free the wick, but this time Nanaya stepped back, slapping his hand. Kotaro, however, couldn't help but put his grudge aside. He knew perfectly well what was causing the bleeding. It had happened more than once in their childhood. He hated to see it. He knew the wound and all the machinery to replace his missing eye was painful.

"Oi!" He growled. "Go to the infirmary, baka!"

"No... it's okay. I just need a little water."

"To others! "

He grabbed his wrist and dragged him forcibly with him, toward the hall. The infirmary was next door, in the west corridor. Nanaya no longer understood whether Kotaro was angry with him or not. He had no choice but to follow him. Kenji and Mineko also accompanied them.

When they arrived in the office, a man was rummaging through a file drawer. He looked up at them, smiling warmly at them. Like most teachers, he wore a mask, which barely hinted at his red eyes. The same red as his long hair, contrasting with his dark skin. His clothes were in shades of warm colors, though half concealed by the white coat that indicated his doctor's status.

"Well," he whispered softly. "You don't have to come in such large numbers, you know? Don't tell me anything. I have eyes you can imagine. Let me see your wound, my boy. What happened ? "

He got up to walk around his desk and approach Nanaya, but the young man immediately backed away. He bumped into Kenji who was preventing him from accessing the door.

"Don't be ridiculous." The redhead growled. "It's Phen-X. If anyone can heal a wound, it's him."

"It's okay, I'm telling you..." the teen mumbled.

Phen-X sighed, hands on his hips. He quickly observed the young student, noticing the uniform he was wearing. Of course, he too had heard of the problem. He finally walked over to one of his cupboards to get some disinfectant out of it.

"Uchiri Nanaya, right?" The adult slipped.

The teenager didn't answer. All the teachers probably knew about it. The nurse poured the product onto a tissue. He knew that kind of reaction and that way of always refusing help.

"Your father wasn't very tactile either." He said with a smile. "We entered S.D.A. at the same time. Him to Darkeas and me to Saurity. Has he ... never told you about me? "

Nanaya shook his head negatively as he squeezed himself against Kenji. Phen-X rubbed his head.

"Next time you see him," said the nurse. "Tell him that Henmi Teiji is sorry and that he would like to see him again. Okay ? "

Nanaya wondered for a moment if that was the adult's real name. But they weren't allowed to reveal it so it certainly weren't. What could this "Teiji" have done to his father? He just nodded, however.

"Okay, come on, let me see that wound."

Nanaya hoped to escape to the right, but Kotaro grabbed him, one arm around his shoulder, holding his wrist with the other hand.

"Stop playing the kid!" Scolded his old friend. "No one is going to run away screaming! "

Nanaya glanced at the other two. Mineko had seen his "eye" before and was terrified of it. Kenji didn't know. The young man wanted them out. Both. But the redhead had more in mind to help.
