Little Sumira was seated at a table in the large living room of the floating mansion. The room was large and several of Lord's henchmen met there regularly to rest and chat with each other. The weather outside was rainy and the seas rough. The children were, for the most part, in the playroom, but Sumira had preferred to ask for sheets and pencils to draw. She was worried, because the day after their arrival Lord had sent Shoko on a spy mission. She suspected it would take a while, but she had really hoped to see him come back after a week. They had never been separated.

Kohi sat next to her, silently setting up the cell phone their boss had given him, as they would every person working for him. He looked up in annoyance when the little girl patted his arm. She then handed him his portrait, a talent worthy of her young age. She had clearly struggled with his usually disheveled hair. The drawing looked like his head was exploding.

"Remind me why are you sticking to me?" He muttered as he picked up the gift.

"Because Meltdown is mean. The child simply called out. That Lord said he didn't have time and Red scared me."

"Yeah... I can understand you on that last point."

He glanced at the teenager who was in the same room. Despite the number of seats, he had preferred to lie down on the floor, all smiles, right in the middle. He held the book he was reading above him, at arm's length as he commented aloud on the events taking place there while sneering. His long hair was spread around him, almost like a spider's web. He was moving his legs as if he was trying to make a snow angel hard on the carpet. He was certainly making the most of all the room he could have, after growing up in a cage. More than one had preferred to leave the room to be more calm.

"And the others ?" Viper asked. "There are about 30 other people here, not counting the children."

"The others, I don't know them."

"Me neither."

"I know you. We traveled together for three days. So I know you."

Viper sighed. The girl's logic was relentless. She reminded him of his little sister. He allowed himself to smile, well hidden under his mask.

Nanaya had waited for his classmates to leave the locker room after their sports class. He was quicker to change because, alone in the boys' locker room, he did not talk with anyone. A large chunk of his class had stayed close to him often since the incident at his tagged desk, and with nothing else to happen, Nanaya was starting to tell himself that it really was one of them. He didn't let it show, but he spent his time trying to figure out who could hate him in his class.

He wasn't going to ask this question for long. He was heading towards their classroom when, arriving in the hall on the third floor, he did not fail to immediately see the tags in the distance, on his locker. There was nothing when the class came down, and no girl left sports class. Moreover, they had all waited with him to go up all together towards the room. Which meant that it really wasn't a girl in his class, despite the signature still noted under the insults.

"Again ?!" Mineko growled. "Who is having fun doing this ?!"

"It's nothing." Nanaya muttered.

"It's not nothing." Continued Inoue. "It's mean for free! As a class representative, I will immediately inform Angel Ferret! Notify Samfunia-sensei."

The girl ran to the teacher's room, which was in their way anyway, while the class returned to their room.

This time it was sure, someone from another class was in charge. Samfunia arrived a little later in the classroom assuring that Angel Ferret was going to look for the first years.

Nanaya's classmates had almost run out of the classroom by the time of the break, to go and remove the hideous graffiti. The young man was grateful to them. Much to his surprise, Kotaro, Kenji, the twins, Tomeo, Enko, Ita and even Monaka arrived in the hall on the third floor even as he left the hallway with Mineko, Yuto and Rena.

The blonde had quietly texted the group conversation during class. Kotaro was visibly enraged, glancing in the direction of the locker the girls in Class 2-A were cleaning.

"I'm going to kill the person doing this." He mumbled through his teeth.

"Do not say stupid things." Ita replied, clinging to his arm. "You're not even in Darkeas anymore. Heroes don't kill."

"Let go of me, breadboard!"

"You're mean !"

She clutched at him with a pout, giving Nanaya a defiant look, but the boy from Aitori paid no attention. Kenji and Tomeo couldn't help but laugh seeing Kotaro so annoyed by the young girl. Since the start of the year, she had been complaining over and over that he was now in Saurity and never let go of a sole at every break.

Enko gave Nanaya a hug while grumbling about anyone who could come after "such a cute and innocent kitty." Nanaya felt grateful to his friends for being so involved, but he didn't want to worry them too much.

"It's nothing." He assured, pulling away from Enko's embrace. "I'm fine."

"Nana-chan, I'll hit you." Mineko growled.

"I'm really fine!"

"It affect you." Kotaro cut.

"No. I'm used to it, Kot-chan ..."

"You're used to people you don't know, who've never spoken to you, who don't matter to you. This time it's different. I don't want to hear you say you're okay!"

Nanaya bit his lip. He could never hide anything from Kotaro. They had known each other for far too long.

"Shall we go down and get something from the distributors?" Tomeo said. "I'm hungry."

"Go alone!" Growled Kotaro.

"I'm hungry too." Nanaya hissed. "It's a good idea. "

Tomeo smiles. He was right, too. Nanaya didn't want to talk about it, and he wanted to get away from the still visible tags despite the cleaning of his comrades. Kotaro growled, but so went downstairs, along with the others.

As usual, Nanaya offered to give the treats to his friends. It had become so common that they didn't even try to fight back. Even the guardians were each entitled to a pastry.

As always, they stayed together until the end of the break, before resuming class quietly, then hanging out until curfew. Spring was well underway, the weather was fine and they settled on the roof until the end of the day.

Nanaya was tired, not knowing why, when he finally made it to his room. Once again, like every night since the first tags on his desk, he quickly retrieved the note from his table before Hyokko saw it. More insults and threats. He quickly crumpled it up and threw it in his bathroom trash. He didn't even take the time to read it. The first time was enough. He wondered who could slip into his room like this, as he locked the door. He should certainly find out from the teachers, if any students had the power to go through the solid elements.

He undressed with a sigh to take a shower, before settling comfortably in his bed.
