The bus dropped off Nanaya and his friends at the same time the limousine pulled up in front of the school. Thoki stepped out to make sure Starlight could walk fine.

"I'm fine." Assured the director.

"Starlight-Kochō?" Nanaya called. "I didn't know you were at the mansion."

"Hey, Uchiri-san! Did you go out as I see it?"

"Yes. Ogami-san showed me the fair."

"Good. For my part, I have brand new members."

He slapped his right hand against his leg, producing a metallic sound barely muffled by the tissue between the two. Shadow exited at this time. Nakamara had warned him by message that his companion was coming back safe and sound. Now not caring whether he was hiding or not, Starlight couldn't help but run to literally hug and kiss him. Darkeas' Headmaster seemed to have some difficulty carrying him though, nearly fell off and finally put him down quickly.

"The metal used is heavier." Thoki explained with an amused smile. "You should avoid swimming where you have no feet."

"Well received !" Starlight exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, heavier." Shadow mumbled. "Thank you for having warned..."

Thoki allowed himself to laugh. He greeted them and got behind the wheel to leave, as everyone else entered the school.

"May I know what we're doing here? "

Kohi winced as he looked at the houses around him. A charming, quiet suburb, in a small town far from Tokyo. Meltdown handed him a newspaper page without stopping walking.

"I'm looking for a specific person." She said. "The truth is, Lord has been stalking him for a little while, and he should be here. "

Kohi glanced at the article. It was three years ago. A policeman with an invisibility mutation brutally assaulted and killed two of his colleagues as well as two civilians they were working with at the time. According to the article, his name was Taguchi Shoko and he was actively wanted for murder as well as kidnapping. He had, in fact, taken the daughter of the two civilian victims, then four years old. The article described him as armed and dangerous, due to the intensive military training he had imposed on himself before entering law enforcement.

It was no wonder that Lord wanted this man in his ranks.

"I see." Kohi muttered. "But invisibility is one of the most common mutations. How exactly do you hope to find it?"

"The kid. We find the kid first."

"He may have since killed her."

"That's what I would do for sure. But this guy worked in the child welfare department. If they intervened with this family, it was because the parents should not be completely innocent. He was described by his colleagues as particularly involved and he would have already committed police blunders."

"I see the kind. So if you're looking for a child, starting with the one who walks outside by herself at such a late hour is a good idea, right?"

Meltdown, busy packing the item into her bag, looked up. A few yards in front of them, in front of the gate of a house, stood a little girl of about seven. She looked like the child pictured in the newspaper, but a few years older. She seemed to be waiting for something, and held what appeared to be adult clothes in her arms, as well as a pair of boots, definitely too big for her.

Meltdown smiled and walked over. From Kohi's point of view, she looked rather threatening, the girl would surely run away.

"Senri Sumira?" The woman called, waving the article. "Are you lost, my child?"
