Bunny and Angel Ferret had quickly joined the class after being warned. They both looked as angry as Samfunia. They joined the sermon, demanding the denunciation of the culprit. They didn't stop at the bell and were joined by Fixy, surprised to find them there when she was supposed to be teaching. When she learned the reason, she could only accompany her colleagues in their anger. None of the students dared to move, not even when the second bell indicated time for the break. None seemed guilty and the guardians confirmed it, not having left their human all day.

Nanaya sat silently in his place, his eyes fixed on the writing covering his desk. He was trying to figure out what he could have done wrong. He didn't even listen to what the teachers were saying. Until Samfunia interrupted her speech to walk over and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Uchiri-san." She called. "Stop hurting yourself. Go out for a while, will you? We will come and get you if necessary. And you are exempt from cleaning today. Since no one wants to talk, your comrades will take care of it. So go to the infirmary for now."

Nanaya nodded silently and stood up without a word. He mechanically walked upstairs, lost in depressing thoughts and unpleasant memories, not hearing that Hyokko was trying to speak to him. He didn't look up until he got to the hospital wing door, hesitating.

"Nanaya..." muttered the guardian. "The door won't open on its own, you know ...?"

The young man shook his head out of his thoughts and raised his hand to knock. But then the door opened on Phen-X. He had just heard their voices, so he decided to come and greet his student.

"Oh ! Nanaya." The nurse called out. "You do not feel well ? You need something ?"

The teenager was silent. He had no idea what to say. He wasn't used to talking about what happened to him. Phen-X had told him to act with him like he did with his father or with Thoki, but it was too soon. Although he liked him a lot, he still couldn't get used to it so naturally. He must have taken a few seconds to think about what he would do if Thoki was in front of him.

The nurse, on the other hand, could see that something was seriously wrong. His eyes were shining with tears he was holding back in spite of himself.

He glanced at Hyokko and was about to send his young student to the rest room, when Nanaya walked the few feet between them to rest his head against his chest. He didn't put his arms around him. He stood there, his arms at his sides. But an instinctive need for comfort had driven him forward.

Phen-X stood still for a few moments, before finally hugging him gently.

"Hey..." he whispered. "Is it that bad?"

"..."

"I guess you don't want to talk about it... that's okay. Hyokko will tell me everything. You should go lie down."

Nanaya nodded, still silent, and stepped aside to walk towards the curtain separating the office from the rest room. The medic waited until he completely disappeared behind, before questioning the guardian.

He felt his blood boil upon learning what had happened. If he hadn't had to stay here to watch over the teenager, Phen-X would certainly have rushed to the third floor to claim the culprit's name. He felt particularly uplifted. Maybe even more than the time Tomeo almost killed Nanaya. He nearly vented his anger on the poor guardian by raising his voice a little as he called out names, but Hyokko knew nothing.

"Excuse me." Phen-X muttered. "It gets on my nerves ..."

"Me too." Replied the creature. "But getting angry is not going to change anything."
