Brown haired girl

She sits at her desk
Her brown hair
Is tangled
And matted
Atop her head
She didn't wash it today
A girl walks
Up to her
Concern
Etched across her features
Her own black hair
Shines with conditioner
Shines with tenderness
Of a caring owner

The brown haired
Girl
Hears a word
She flips the bird
It's wings are scarred
It's eyes are black
It's feathers are brown
It flies until
A boy with dirty blonde hair
Shoots metallic fire
At it's chest
It gasps
For breath
Prays for death
It comes
Oh it comes
Merciful
Sharp
Rock
It only took one pound
For a light to
Shine down

The poor brown
Haired girl
Has tears
In her eyes
As she holds a rope in hand
And stands in her room
The closet will do
She thinks
Her wings flap
She gains flight
But her dirt ridden
Feathers
Fall
One by one
Covering the floor
As her parents open
Her bedroom
Door

The girl with black hair
Can still see
Her sister sitting at her desk
Even though it's empty
It will always be empty
It will always be empty
