Darling Oh Darling

Time to go out again

Face the chill

You can no longer

Pretend

Darling Oh Darling

Your mask has been stolen

Gripped by knuckles

Of the hands in the wind

Darling oh darling

Time to see yourself

Again

Look at the crisp reflection

Of the water that ripples

Leaving your mind crippled

Your vision disheveled

As tears begin to jumble

You eyelashes in clumps

As each drop of blood

Mixes with the sea

Your sharp blade

Glints with disease

Darling oh darling

Do not listen to their words

Their voices are senses

Just an extension

Tune them out

Darken them all

For they would not

Appreciate your fall

For it seems heaven

Doesn't have enough room

For you

And your mask too

Don't let words tear you apart

Play with the shadows

On the wall

Face the lightning

That illuminates your feet

Laugh joyously

Carelessly

For you own beat

Is faint

Laugh at the ignorance of their words

For they do not know you

How could they

When you do not know yourself

Darling oh darling

It's time to face the chill

You can longer

Pretend

Though I can see

You are still lost

In your own
