Don't Trust Her

My friend and I

Went for a ride

With some friends of hers

That looked superb

Dangerous

And hot

My heart beat like a flock

They stared at us

Taking us in

Up and down

Their eyes went

Up and down

As my doubtful thoughts

Went round and round

My legs seemed longer

My confidence seemed stronger

As I gave them a flirty smile

And my friend began to go wild

I had a bad feeling

That scratched

At my side

But she was having fun

It's not like we were

Going to die

So when they stopped in

The woods

I ignored my own mind

Put it on mute

When they told us to take a sip

I agreed to get lit

Not looking over

At my friend

Pushed up on the tree

Being touched in a such a way

Where there was no retreat

She must have struggled

There was no glee

Only when they knifed

Her did I began to see

My heart beat faster

As I ran into the night

Tripped over roots

Hearing all their hoots

Dragged back to hell

As they got a grip on my boot

I tried to get away

Grabbed the dirt

To my own grave

I'm so sorry

I was so blind

It was because I trusted

Her judgement

Instead of mine
