I lo** you

Once there was a girl
She looked as I
With long brown hair
Bright hazel eyes
She seemed to find delight
In small things
The ordinary fragile
Finds
Cracked shells
Beaten by waves
Washed ashore
In a tragic display
Trees dancing
In a delightful haze
Swinging their limbs
Cascading their gems
She used a lens
To capture this beauty
Though it could not be seen
As she saw it
With her bright eyes
She took delight
In the small things
The ordinary fragile finds
As the day she saw
A boy
Who began to climb
His legs
Pumping him
Higher into the sky
The creaking of rusted metal
And still he chuckled
In delight
She grabbed her lens
Trying to capture the joy
That seemed to transcend
As he yelled to a girl
That seemed to belong to him
Caught her kisses
Singing to her
From a far
His voice was lovely
As the lullaby strangled
The natural sounds
Of the wind
she realized
Those eyes were
Green
That face she had seen
Oh so many times
How he haunts her dreams
A tear slowly
Ran down her
Cheek
As she wished the chains
Would snap
In defeat
A memory so discrete
Forced air from her lungs
Bringing her back
To a feeling
Of insanity
She approached him
Straight and fast
And wanted to scream
But instead
It came out as a whisper
Cold as dry ice
"I love you"
She spat
As if she had
Just cursed
He sat expressionless
Jawline
Strained
She walked away
Deleting an image from her lense
She took delight
In the smaller things
