Shy boy

Give me away
To the boy
That seems
Shy
The boy that
Always hides
Without a word
Who holds
Sore arms
And bruised knuckles
From trying to win
The war
For his dear mother
Who his dad
Calls a whore
Give me away
To the man
That transforms
When danger seeks
My side
Who looks in my eyes
As an equal still
And loves my voice
Like it's his favorite
Song
As we sway in dancing
Lights
Give me away
To the boy
Who holds
Me tight
With his fragile
Soul
And his heart beat
Like a melody
To my sore ears
When my head
Is rested on his
Strong chest
Give me away
To the boy
Next door
Original
Classic
But screams
And cusses
With an elastic
Toungue
And hollow walls
With holes
And scars
From the impact
That made him
Grown
But fallen
Never to be whole
Or find a home
A forsaken
Lost soul
Give me away
To the shy boy
Who hides
Who he really
Is
Kind
But broken
As his bones
That may one
Day grow back
Stronger
Give me away
To the boy
That seems shy
