I began to realize
The everlasting taste
Of the freedom I received
When you were with me
It was dangerous
For you to have such power
Over me
You were red
I loved taking pictures
Of you with me
Holding onto
The memories
Afraid you would slip
But perhaps I could still look
Into your eyes
Even if they held a film
Haze
I was blue
When we touched
I could feel myself
Slipping into purple
A lavender that intoxicated
My senses
Leaving me lying between sheets
Thinking back
To the sweetness
Of my red
Of  the overwhelming
Sensation of a purple haze
Perhaps it was the pills
Oval in shape
But without taste
We wondered along
The thin lines
Of fractured minds
That envisioned oceans
And seas
When all we saw was each other
The waves hitting the shore
As I was entangled in your arms
Your legs
Your being
Intense with quick laughs
That were imprinted in my
Unconsciousness
Till you even existed in my dreams
My red
I was your blue
Together we saw purple
The blindness
Led to us falling
For a color
That only existed
In photos
And memories
With a film haze
But everything was red for me
Everything was blue for you
And when we were purple
We were unstoppable
