Nisha's Point of View

I was startled awake when I felt a tap on my cheeks. Patricia was standing near my bed when I gently opened my eyes. I scowled because she was beaming from ear to ear, and I was about to return the smile when I remembered what had happened the night before. Was this a true story, or was it all just a dream?

Patricia inquired, "Are you all right?" I carefully got out of bed and straightened my hair.

"What happened last night?" I asked, but she only shrugged her shoulders. I wasn't sure how to express how I was feeling. Was it an illusion once more? Why did illusions continue to pursue me? I had accepted the reality of my situation and was perplexed as to why this had occurred. It felt so real, and his words were still fresh in my mind. He wasn't the Shawn I remembered from my dreams. Not the Shawn I met last night, who was willing to murder me.

I shook my head as I was deep in thought once more. The door burst open, and I was surprised to see FE-R001 standing there with his hands on his back.

"Prepare yourself. We're going to practice today, and I have to make an important announcement," he stated. I responded with a nod and turned to face Patricia, who remained silent and sat on my bed.

"Alright. We'll start by taking a bath," I said. She mumbled something, and he simply turned around and walked away.

Patricia promptly obeyed my command to go to the restroom and clean herself. I was the one who went looking for her clothes and came across a white sando and black slacks that looked great on her. I stacked them up and placed them on her bed for her to see later. I followed her to the bathroom and was disappointed to find her staring into the void, as if she was just waiting for me to clean her up. Despite the fact that I understood her, I did not complain. She needed more practice to improve her expertise in this area. She was a young girl who grew up in a village devoid of finery.

"You need to learn these things," I said quietly to her as I applied soap to her body. She simply nodded and remained in her posture.

When she was finished, I directed her to wear the clothes I had placed on her bed, and she did so without hesitation. I then began taking a bath so that we could start our day. The events of last night were still fresh in my memory as I sat in the bathroom. I wasn't sure if I should ask about them, but first and foremost, I needed to teach myself how to sense my surroundings and determine what is genuine and what is not, especially in light of what would occur in my everyday life.

After 30 minutes in the water, I dried off and went to our bed, where Patricia was already dressed. I walked over to her and adjusted her white sando to fit her better. When I was done, I changed into my regular clothing. I simply chose a red blouse with a flower on the chest and a pair of comfortable leggings to ensure that I could train effectively today. I wasn't sure if I needed to dress like a ninja, but I doubted it. They would simply instruct me if it was necessary.

After we had settled down, I grabbed Patricia's hand and led her outdoors. We found ourselves surrounded by a dark environment, which I simply ignored as I locked the door to our chamber.

We walked to the field and spotted Mr. Santiago standing behind a tree, with FE-R001 standing behind him, looking at us and waiting for us to approach. We took our steps quietly, and when we arrived, Mr. Santiago messed up Patricia's hair, but she just smiled and didn't say anything about it.

"I hope Patricia had a restful night's sleep. But now, Patricia will instruct you, and FE-R001 will only serve as a guide throughout your training. Since you've turned off Zyan and it's up to you when you want to talk to him, Patricia will act as Zyan's speaker and train you," Mr. Santiago said something that left me dumbfounded. Was it true that I turned off Zyan? I wasn't sure, but I didn't ask for clarification and merely nodded to Mr. Santiago.
