"The nice thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side."

-Margaret Carty

Keith.

After I saw the girls that were on Dylan's team come out of the gym, I knew she would still be in there probably working on her sets. But what I saw her walk a little funny, and then fall down, my heart stopped beating.

"Dylan!" I yelled catching her before she hit her head on the ground. "Dylan, can you hear me?!" I was starting to panic and I didn't know what to do. I have never been around someone who has fainted on me before, so I picked her up bridal style and walked out the gym to the nurses office.

"Woah, what happened?" asked Noah. The look on his face was as ghost white as mine probably looked.

"I have no idea. I was walking in when she just fell. I caught her before she hit her head but it's a mystery to why she fell in the first place." I said as we walked inside the nurses office.

"Oh what do we have here Keith?" asked Nora, which has been a close family friend of ours. Practically, I call her my aunt.

"Not quite sure. I was going to go see her in the gym when she started walking weird and then fell."

"Hmm. Set her down on this bed and I think I know what is wrong with her." she murmured walking back to her little office area to grab something.

I kept looking at Dylan and how perfect she seemed to look. I started to smile just knowing that I am beyond in trouble for liking a girl when I knew I had to focus on volleyball. My dad is going to be so mad if he ever finds out about Dylan and I...well whatever this is between us.

"Dude Keith!" yelled Noah.

"What?"

"I've been calling your name for the past few minutes. All you kept doing was smiling at Dylan like some love sick puppy." he smirked nudging me.

"Oh shut up." I snapped.

"Well it seems like it was her blood sugar level." finally said Nora.

"What?" I asked again clueless.

"Well she fainted because she didn't have a lot of food in her system and she must have had a hard workout." she explained as Dylan started opening her eyes.

"What happened?" she asked confused.

"Dylan," I paused. "You fainted."

"I did?"

"Yeah. I was coming in to see you when you fell, but I caught you before you could hit your head."

"Oh. Yeah, I'm sorry." she said sitting up.

"Hey, take it slow sweetie." said Nora.

"I feel fine." she said getting up.

"No you don't. You are eating this whole plate of food before I let you out." Nora said and I couldn't agree even more.

"So why haven't you aten anything?" I asked her as Noah and Nora both left us alone.

"I guess I forgot." she looked around. "I tend to do that a lot. When things are on my mind, I'm stressed out, I tend to just forget to eat. With that workout this morning, I guess it just slipped my mind." she said again before grabbing some grapes and plopping them in her mouth.

"Well you should learn to eat next time. These workouts will only get harder, and your body will become weaker if you do this to yourself. I really don't like seeing you like this." I told her truthfully.

"Really?" she asked staring into my eyes. Oh gosh, her eyes literally make my legs go all mushy.

I took a breath before saying, "Yes. Believe it or not, you are the one person here besides Noah that I think is truly amazing. Well you're more special than Noah, no offense to him." I chuckled.

She laughed. "Well thanks. I think that's the best thing any guy could say to me." there was that sparkle in her eye and I couldn't help but smile even more. I made her smile like that, and it made me feel pretty amazing.

Dylan and I finally left the nurses office about a half hour later, which Dylan finally finished all the food off the tray, with the help of myself. Just the two of us in that room without any interruptions, or having to go play volleyball, I really got to know her. And let me tell you, she is pretty awesome.

Her favorite color is purple. She absolutely loves dogs, she has three of them back at home. She is planning on being a therepist when she's out of college. Favorite food happens to be macaroni and cheese(which is mine as well). And I also found out she has an amazing voice.

I was in the little bathroom in the nurses office, and I was about to leave when I heard her start singing. I couldn't help myself but listen to her. Her voice was so angelic that I closed my eyes and started to think about things. That was until I lost my balance and ended up falling forward esposing myself and making her stop. I felt so foolish but she was laughing, making me laugh and anything to make her laugh was worth it.

I have never felt this way about someone before. Then again, I was so self absorbed with school and volleyball, I never paid any attention to females at all. With Dylan here, her being my match made from heaven, she is starting to change me. Change me into someone I have never been and I'm not quite sure if it's a good or bad thinig.

Dylan Wilson....I'm starting to fall for you......
