"Volleyball is 90% heart, 10% skill, and 10% passion. You ALWAYS give 110% no matter what!"
Jessica.
All the running, and drills and the games is what got to me. I thought I was going to die. I was beyond exhausted and I thought I shouldn't have had those junk food sleepovers with Sara before I left.I have to admit there were a lot of girls that were very talented at volleyball, and some that weren't as good as I hoped them to be. I thought you had to be pretty good to get into this academy. Well I guess not.
Though there was this blonde girl who was so rude to this girl who was a beast at playing, well more like running. I would always see her way ahead of the rest of us girls. That's what I hate about us girls. We start drama pretty fast and it never looks good.
When the coaches announced our teams, I was a little bummed I wasn't with that that one girl who played so well.
June was my coach. She looked like she was around thirty, but very nice and seemed really shy. She had grey eyes and black hair. For a coach I would think she should talk loud and be bossy, but she was really quiet and was awkward.
Then there was Kaelee. Who was the most rudest blonde girl I have ever met. She was the girl that was so rude to other girls. Why does she have to be on my team? Ugh, if anything could get any worse, she had her sidekick with her.
Kaelee's sidekick was Tawny. She was just as bad. She had brown hair that went to her shoulders making her ponytail extremely short. Her and Kaelee would always make mean remarks to other girls on our team. I just can't believe that girls could be that mean.
Anyways, there was Laurel. She was literally a twig. Her leg width was as big as my arm and that was saying something. Her being skinny made her really tall with red hair.
Breanna was the next girl. She had blonde hair and freckes covered her whole face. Strikingly beautiful hazel eyes and had a nice personality. She was the only one who actually tried talking to me.
Lastly there was Olivia. She had curly black hair which went in every direction. She had big eyes due to her glasses that she wore but from the games we were playing earlier, she was pretty good.
"Okay, so once everyone is done telling the rules to their players you are able to go back to your dorms take showers, relax until dinner which is at five. After dinner we have a show that is put on by the directors and the coaches and they will also talk about the camp." wow, I think that is the most I've heard her talk.
"I definately need a shower, being in all this sweaty clothes is driving me crazy." muttered Kaelee. Ugh, I just wanted to slap the stupid off her.
Just then the old guy blew on his whistle making some of the girls in the gym scream. I mean come on, really?
"Okay! Now you may go change, shower, relax, but meet outside the lounge for dinner at five. Got it!" he yelled.
"Yes!" all of us replied. With that mostly the girls were running out of the gym. Yes, I wanted to take a shower, but I wasn't that obsessed with it like Kaelee and Tawny were.
I slowly got up and made my way out the door. That was until I heard my brothers voice say something rude to someone.
"Watch where you're going loser!" Corey yelled shoving his way past him. The guy stumbled almost tripping but that's when I ran up to him and caught him before he fell.
"Don't let him get to you, he's a jerk." I told him.
"I..uh, uhm thanks" he mumbled. His cheeks started to get red. I smiled at how I made him blush for helping him up.
"No problem. I'm Jessica by the way." I told him.
"Uh, Noah."
"Well it's nice to meet you." I told him as we reached Lincoln. "Well this is me, I'll see you later." I told him as I went the other direction.
"Bye." he said quietly. Strangely he was cute and I kinda liked his awkwardness.
I got inside my room and all three of my roommates were already in there.
"I'm Sydney." the tallest girl said with a smile.
"Hi. I'm Jessica." I said going to my bed.
"I'm Dylan." said another girl with brown hair.
"Michaela." said the red head who I remembered asked how to do the butterfly drill.
"So how did tryouts go?" I asked them.
"Good. Though I am beyond tired." said Michaela as she layed down on her bed.
"No kidding." I said laughing.
"I call showers!" yelled Dylan grabbing her clothes.
"Just so you can get ready for Keith." sang Michaela.
"Who's Keith?" smiled Sydney.
"No one." she blushed walking into the bathroom and shutting the door.
"Just some guy she's crushing on, who has a crush on her." laughed Michaela.
"Do not!" we heard her yell from the bathroom. That's when we all just busted out laughing.
I may have some snott rude girls on my team, but my roommates are what make my day. Well kinda night, considering its getting there.
We had aobut two hours till we had to be down by the lounge for dinner. I kind of wanted to get pretty for Noah, but he didn't really seem that interested in me. Maybe my brother got to him. I am so going to kill Corey for doing that.
Well this is going to be one crazy summer I must say. But lets just hope all good things happen.

hate Kaelee yet? I already do(: You got the side of her and Noah...oooh! Do I hear wedding bells? jk. lol
I can't believe that Corey and Kaelee are that mean. Why did I have to write such crude characters?
Oh well...
Well you got the little part of Dylan and her crush for Keith...I think I'm falling in love with those two.
Hope you liked this little chapter!((:
Enjoy!
