"Volleyball is the sport through which I am able to express my God given talents of being an athlete. It is a sport which involves relating, pushing, and encouraging your teammates. It has helped evolve me into the person I am today." -David Beard
Jessica.
It was actually pretty awesome playing the guys today. We actually were pretty close in score and it was an intense game.
Noah was a pretty good player, and I'm quite impressed how he played. Smiling, I went over to him and surprised him with a hug. I could tell he didn't know what to do at first but then he hugged me back.
"You played great!" I cheered smiling at him.
"Right back at you Jess." he smirked.
"Jess! Coach wants to talk to us real quick!" Breanna yelled waving her hands at me.
"I'll be right back." and with that I jogged over to my team.
"That was amazing girls! You played spendid! That was just a beginning for the rest of the camp." she smiled, proudness shown in her eyes. "I have decided to let you guys have a free day for the rest of the evening, but dinner, we are going to eat together as a team. "Great job ladies." with that she walked over to the other coaches that were in the gym.
"Want to watch this game?" Breanna asked.
"Yeah. I have some roommates playing." I smiled back.
"And Noah is staying as well?" she smirked.
"Oh shut up." I elbowed her, as we went to our bags and sat down waiting for this next game to start.
"Hey guys." Keith said as him and Noah came over us.
"You played great Keith." I said to him.
"Thanks, you did too. Who knew you were a kickass player?" he smirked.
In result I grabbed my smelly knee pad and threw it at him. "Hey now, no need to throw around smelly knee pads." he laughed tossing it back to me.
Just then the door opened and some guys walked in the gym who looked like they were in college. They were huge! "Is that who they're playing?" I asked.
"Looks like it." Breanna said.
"If those guys ever hurt Dylan..." I heard Keith mutter.
"What about Dylan?" I asked smirking.
He shook his head as I could see some blush rush to his face, "Nothing." with that we all laughed.
These guys were intense and really good. But our girls seemed to be pretty close up in score with them. They won the first game, the guys won the second game and now the score was 22-24. I knew they could pull some plays and beat them.
"Come on ladies!" I screamed cheering on my friends.
I could tell they wanted to give up as I could see that they were all breathing heavily, which I would be doing the same thing as well if I was in their shoes.
They hit it short which the guys lacked of covering on the court and got the point. Pretty much everyone in the gym that was cheering on the girls yelled in excitement once the ball landed on their side.
"This is going to be a very close game." Keith said.
"Yeah it is." we all agreed.
Just out of no where we all see Dylan just get the crap out of her by the ball and I could see Keith getting up from the corner of my eye.
