"When you've got something to prove, there's nothing greater than a challenge."

Keith.
"You're going to win this." smiled Dylan. She had her arms around my waist as the teams who previously played were clearing out the court. My team was up to play to see who gets first or second place.
"Of course I am." I smirked.
She then whacked my arm. "Don't get cocky now or else you're gonna lose." it was her turn to smirk.
"Lets go Keith!" Noah yelled from behind me.
"Well I guess that is my cue. You going to watch?"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." she smiled and then kissed me. Man, I'm never gonna get use to her soft, luscious lips. It's like my whole body heats up every time as if it was our first kiss all over again.
"Alright Romeo, lets go warm up." laughed Noah as he pulled on my arm.
"Kill it." Dyl winked at me before walking back to the bleachers.
"Dude, you're so whipped." commented Corey.
"Whatever." I muttered while tossing the ball to Noah to pepper.
You so are. I told myself.
I know I am.
"Alright guys, this team is neck and neck with us with points, so it'll be a very hard and close game. I believe in you guys and know you can do it." Joseph had said.
"We kick ass every time coach." said Corey.
"Damn straight." smirked Joe. "Team on three."
"One. Two. Three. Team!"
We had won the coin toss, us serving first which Levy went to the back line. Over the summer we all have improved so much as players and Levy probably has improved the most with his serve.
I remember his serve was always so light and barely went over the net, and now he hits it so hard he has to scoot as far back as possible so the ball doesn't go out of bounds.
"You got this dude." I told him as he smiled at me before taking a breath and serving it over.
They got the ball easily as they passed it to their setter who set a slide for the middle hitter. He jumped at the right time and slammed the ball down hard.
Luckily for Noah who was a great libero, picked up the ball with no problem.
"Mine!" yelled Alex as he set the ball.
"Middle!" yelled Corey as he did his approach and slammed the ball down. He must have been angry or something because he slammed that ball so hard it hit the ground by the end line and bounced to the crowd.
"Yes!" we all yelled as we all gave him high fives.
"Good job bro." I told him.
He served the ball over again but it wasn't as hard. They were able to make a play out of it.
"Got it!" yelled Noah who passed it to Alex.
"Mine!" he yelled as he set it outside for Toby.
Toby went to hit outside and unfortunately for us they were able to block his hit and the ball came back to our side. I went to get the ball but was too slow as it bounced right in front of my face.
