"Unless you puke, faint, or die, keep going."
-Jillian Michaels
Dylan.
I was in my room packing up my things as my train was leaving in a couple hours. Michaela and Sydney already left not too long ago which was pretty hard.
I had grown so close to those two as well as Jessica, they became like my sisters. These last few months went by so fast that I can't believe that school was going to start in just a short couple weeks.
"I can't believe it's time to go home already." I heard Jessica sigh from her bed.
"I know." I then frowned. I can't believe I was going to be leaving Keith.
"How are you and Noah going to deal with the distance?" I asked. I really wanted to know her opinion about being away from someone she was with.
"It was so hard to talk about it when we did discuss it. But we are going to be texting, talk on the phone and Skype. It'll be hard but worth it in the end. We talked about when we have senior night for volleyball to some how make it to each others game. Then there's Thanksgiving and Christmas break, oh and prom! And before you know it, it'll be graduation and the summer to be together."
"I guess it doesn't sound that bad." I shrugged my shoulders. "When I had dinner with Keith's family, that night we confessed that we loved each other." I said looking up at her.
"What?! Why didn't you tell me? Or the other girls?" she then sat next to me on my bed.
"I don't know, it slipped my mind." I laughed.
"Oh my gosh Dylan! How exciting!"
"I know. I'm so happy, and can't be any happier. And now that we've reached that point in our relationship I'm just scared and upset we will be away from each other." I admitted.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what to tell you."
"I know. Just nice to tell someone."
"Well I'm glad that I'm that person." she smiled as we side hugged while resting each others head on each other. Then all of a sudden her phone went off. "Hello? Okay, be right there." she then hung up. "My parents are here, I guess that's my cue to leave." she said sadly before getting up.
She gave me one last hug before wheeling her suitcase out of the room. And now there's one.
I let out a sigh before looking around at the empty room. So many great memories with three girls who will forever be my best friends. And those who were on my team, but I didn't have fun sleepovers with them like I did with Jessica, Sydney, and Michaela.
"Knock, knock." I hear Keith's voice from behind the door. He then peeked his head through. "Looks so weird to see no hair brush or clothes on the floor." he joked.
"Ha ha." I laughed before getting up to give him a hug which he gave, also giving me a kiss on my temple.
"Why don't we go watch some movies before you have to leave?"
I gave him a sad smile, "Okay."
After the movie was done we didn't move as the credits started rolling on the screen. I was enjoying being in his arms. I was going to miss this.
I looked at my phone and saw that my train leaves in forty-five minutes. "We should probably make our way to the station." I said getting up.
"Alright. I'll go pull the car up outside." he gave me a light kiss on the lips before leaving the movie room.
