Dylan.
I woke up to my alarm blaring out annoying sounds and groaned as I slapped the Off button."Geez Dylan, why do you have that dang alarm clock on at this hour?" moaned a very tired Sydney.
"Sorry. Just going to early morning workouts." I whispered.
"You must be very dedicated." voiced Jessica.
"Well I love playing, and I want to get on the good side by a lot of coaches." I smiled as I got out my clothes for today. "Anyone else want to join me?"
"No. Now be quiet, I need my beauty sleep." grumbled Michaela.
"Okay, okay, I'm going." I finally whispred as I exited out of our dorm room and into the chill of the 6am morning breeze.
"I see great minds think alike." said a voice from behind me scaring the crap out of me.
"Geez Keith, you scared me." I said putting my hand over my chest.
"Sorry." he laughed.
"It's not funny!" I nudged him earning a nudge back.
"I doubt there will be a lot of people at this early morning thing."
"Yeah. My roommates thought I was crazy coming to this thing. But the more volleyball, the better." I smiled at him as we entered the gym.
"Couldn't have put in a better way myself." he smiled at me. I just can't get enough of his gorgeous smile. What are you saying Dylan? Get your head out of the gutter!
"Great you came!" said a very excited Lily, which was surprising since it was really early in the morning.
"Yeah I did. I tried getting my roommates to go, but they complained about how early it was and needing their beauty rest." I laughed.
"Well not a lot of people comes to these. Only dedicated players."
"That's right." I agreed. I really loved playing volleyball and the way I felt when I played felt like something I can't describe. Being on a team felt great as well as you bond so well making yourself your own family.
"Great! Lets all get started!" clapped the woman instructor. "I will have Lily start us off with some warm ups."
Warm ups in their language was definately different in what I thought warm ups would be. We ran suicides, skier jumps, vertical jumps, wall sits, push ups, sit ups, and other extrememly hardcore work out.
"Okay, great job today ladies and gentlemen. For the last fifteen minutes we will play three on three." I didn't really see anyone I really knew here besides Keith.
"You're on my team." he said smiling.
"Well okay." I smiled back. "Now we just need another player."
Keith walked up to another guy and brought him over to me. "Dylan this is Logan, Logan this is Dylan." he said as we shook hands. "Great, now we are a team."
We played and played and I was having such a blast that I didn't even know that people started piling into the gym.
"Dang girl, you are pretty good." muttered Logan as he gave me a high five.
