"One man can be a crucial ingredient on a team, but one man cannot make a team."

Dylan.
After warming up for ten minutes, we all got ready on the court. I felt even more anxious as I really wanted to win. I wanted the girls trophy.
Looking back at the bleachers I saw my parents with wide smiles and a nervous looking Keith approaching my dad. I giggled before turning back to the court.
I was up in my position in the setters home base and waited for a sideout. Unfortunately we had lost the coin toss, but this gave us a chance to win the first point.
"You got this Kenna!" I encouraged as she bounced the ball before serving it over the net.
They easily passed the ball up to their setter who set it up for their outside hitter.
"Cross! Cross!" I yelled warning back row as the hit came down at Michaela.
"Mine!" she yelled passing it the best she could as the hit came down hard.
She was able to pass the ball close to me, but I still had to hustle towards the middle of the court. "I got it! Outside!" I yelled to Nicole which she did her approach and psyched out the other team and tipped it over landing on the ground.
"Whoohoo!" we all celebrated with high fives. First point goes to us.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Lily yelled excitedly.
Makenna was able to serve the ball five times, with us earning every point until the other team finally tricked us when they dumped the ball in the front row. Us in the front row all dove for it it last minute when we saw what they were doing last minute and all crashed together in a huddle.
"It's alright ladies, lets pick up this next point." Lily said trying to change the negative feeling atmosphere.
"Yeah, we got this ladies! Let's get a sideout!" I yelled as we all were in our positions ready for serve receive.
The girl on the opposing team was huge, and when I'm talking about huge, I mean she had to be at least 6 foot.
She served the ball over, directly right over the net and it had to be going like 50 miles per hour.
"Mine!" yelled Isabella. I'm sure she knew it was going to be a deep ball so she scooted back a couple feet to pass it to me which she did marvelously.
I then yelled, "Got it! Back, back!" I set it behind me for Michaela as she did her attack; but then two of the girls on the other team blocked the hit as it came back down on our side.
I was covering close to Michaela in case this would happen and was able to get the ball up a little bit as Taylor pushed a set to their back row.
