"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever."

Noah.
I was getting some frozen yogurt at the snack shack when someone put their hands over my eyes, "Guess who?" said an attempt at talking in a low voice.
I laughed before speaking, "Nicely done Jess." smiling, I can't believe how amazing that felt saying her name roll off my tongue.
"Oh, how'd you know it was me?" she smiled again. This girl and her smile basically made me weak at the knees.
"You always wear that vanilla lotion, it was easy to pinpoint that it was you." I smirked.
"It could have been someone else who has the same scent."
"Just give up girl." smiled the girl next to Jessia. "I'm Breanna by the way." she said shaking my hand.
"Noah." I shook it.
"Well Noah, it was nice to meet you." she smiled. "Want to join us for some yogurt?"
"Sure, it would be my pleasure." I smiled at both of them.
I definately was really happy that I was hanging out with Jessica. After some hardcore volleyball, seeing her makes me really happy.
After we got our yogurt we sat down at one of the booths by the window and sat in silence. But this silence wasn't awkward or boring, I was actually content with the deliciousness of my yogurt and the presence of Jessia across from me.
A few minutes later of quietness, I decided to say something. "So how was practice?"
They both looked at each other and laughed before Breanna said something. "Well lets just say that half of practice we were running because of Kaelee and how she exaggerated on how hard Jessica's hit smacked her in the face." she began laughing again.
"You really hit her?" I asked smiling.
"Hell yeah." she smirked before we all busted out laughing.
"Too bad I wasn't there, it would have been hilarious."
"It was! Just the way her face scrunched up before she started to scream was funny." Breanna said.
"I was too in shock to see what she looked like." Jessica admitted.
Finishing my yogurt, I said, "Well I bet it looked pretty amusing." what is this girl doing to me?!
"It was." she laughed again finishing her yogurt.
"Well I'm going to go back to my room and rest for a bit before we go back to practice. See you later?" Breanna said getting up.
"Yeah sure." Jess smiled.
"Okay. It was nice meeting you Noah, I'll see you around."
"Same goes to you." I smiled back as she walked out of the Snack Shack leaving Jessica and me. I looked up at her saying, "Want to go for a walk?"
"Sure." she smiled. "That sounds perfect."
We got up, threw away our trash and made our way back outside and decided to go to the track to walk. The first few minutes were a perfect silent as we walked enjoying the sun and the peace. That's when Jessica decided to ask me a question.
"So what's home like for you?" she asked looking up at me.
I thought about it before thinking that she will hate what she'll hear. "I'm embarassed to tell you." I admitted.
