A Volleyball Story

Chapter 2: Corey.

Corey.

"Come on dude! You suck!" my friend Matt yelled as we were playing basketball outside my house.

"Do not!" I yelled back.

"We are losing, they're kicking our ass!"

"I'm more of a volleyball kind of guy." I smiled.

"That's for losers." said Derek.

"You say that now, but it's all about playing with the hot chicks in those spandex." I smiled even bigger.

"You're such a perv!" I heard my sister yell. She got out of her car just as one of her hot friends Sara got out with her.

"Hey there hot stuff." I flirted.

"In your dreams!" she yelled back rolling her eyes.

"Oh she wants me." I said.

"Not if she likes me first." said Matt.

"You want to bet?"

"I'm not some toy you guys can play with! Plus you all are not my type." she said as her and Jessica, my sister laughed walking inside the house.

"Burn." remarked Nick.

"That was for all of us."

"No. That was for you two idiots. I'm more into your sister." he said. Wait what? My sister? That's just gross.

"That's disgusting Nick." I guess Derek read my mind.

"I'm what?!" I exclaimed out loud at family dinner.

"Yeah. I filled out an application for you as well when we sent in Jessica's." my mom told me.

"Corey, we just don't want you to get in all the trouble you did last year. You are going to be a junior in high school and you need to start thinking about college." my dad told me in a stern voice.

"But this is not fair." I argued back.

"I actually agree with him." Jessica said. Glad she was just as angry about this as I was.

"I wanted to hang out with the guys this summer. Come on, please?" I begged.

"No. We already made our final decision. Plus they are looking forward to meeting the both of you." my mother said.

Why are my parents ruining my life? This was just going to ruin my summer. On second thought, a camp full of girls wearing spandex... yeah maybe I could get used to it.

Well lovely ladies, get ready because the one and only Corey is here to capture your heart...oh and play volleyball too.

I know it's a short chapter, but it's to introduce Corey's character. But you can probably guess what kind of character he is.
