"Love at first spike."

Dylan.
"Mom! Dad!" I yelled as I ran towards them giving them a giant hug. I sure have missed them a lot. Sometimes you would think that being an only child you would bicker with your parents non stop- that you wouldn't be close to them; well for me, I was the opposite.
My parents and I were really close. I was a daddy's girl though.
"How's my babygirl?" my dad asked as he picked me up and spun me around.
"Good. I really like it here." I smiled.
"How are you handling the guys being here?" mom asked. Right as she said that, I thought of Keith and smiled, and most likely blushed as well. "I take it that it's going well." she smiled. "Wait, is there a guy?"
"What? There can't be a guy!" dad was furious. Maybe that's why I never really experienced any of this crush, liking guys, kissing them, etc because my dad always prevented it from happening.
"Dad, please calm down. You do realize I'm pratically an adult right now."
"No you're not. You're always going to be my baby girl."
And right on cue, I hear Keith yelling my name from behind me.
"Hey Keith." I smiled as he gave me a hug.
"I'm assuming these are your wonderful parents." he smiled.
"Well aren't you a gentleman." mom smiled. "I'm Linda."
"Linda, it's a pleasure of meeting you." he smiled shaking her hand.
"Sir." he said handing his hand out for my dad.
Dad reluctantly took it and firmly shook his hand, "Greg."
"Linda, Greg, I'm Keith, it's nice to meet you." he smiled. Still he can smile and it makes me knees go weak. I wonder if my parents can see how amazing he can smile.
"Well Keith, I sure hope you're treating my daughter well." dad said. Oh no, he better not embarass me or say something mean to him.
"The best that she deserves sir." he smiled and then looked down at me. Okay, can he seriously just stop being so perfect?
"Well you better not hurt my princess." dad said. Oh come on, I'm not a baby anymore.
"I wouldn't even dream of it Greg. I would love to stay and chat, but I do have to go help my dad with something, I'll see you later?" he said that last part to me.
"Yeah, sure." I smiled back at him before he jogged his way towards the gym. "His parents own the academy." I told them.
"They what?" asked dad.
"Yeah, his parents own the academy. Keith has older sisters who've gone to the camp, and now help coach, and his parents inherited this land from his grandparents, and they are all a volleyball family, so they decided to make a camp out of it. And I'm assuming since Keith is the only boy of the family, and he as well is very passionate about the sport, his dad finally let guys come this year."
"Oh wow, that's pretty amazing." my mom said smiling.
."I don't know about this guy."
I groaned. "Daaaad. He's an amazing guy, please don't ruin this for me."
"I can't say no to those puppy eyes." he smiled.
"Yay!" I squealed.
"Dylan! We have to play right now!" yelled Michaela.
