It's been 2 weeks since I spoke to Erik. I haven't even stepped into the room he's being held in. I have no need to. The thing that Tony made is working. He hasn't gotten in my head, but I still hear whoever is getting into my head. It's always a "hello" in a scared tone. I still don't know who it is. I talked to Bruce about it yesterday, but he said there's nothing I could really do but hope it's not Erik. There's no way to get this person out of my head without knowing who it is.

Update. Sam has successfully pranked Loki ones in the past 2 weeks. Once. Loki either let his guard down, thinking he wouldn't be able to prank him, or he just wanted to see Sam succeed for once. I highly doubt he'd let Sam succeed, though. Loki doesn't like losing. But, he was still pranked. It was the classic bucket of water above the doorway. I guess he just didn't expect there to be a bucket of water to the doorway of the bathroom.

"Wake up already!" I hear, as I finally open my eyes. Sam was standing over me, shaking me awake.
"What do you want?" I mutter, closing my eyes again. Loki was still next to me, but I doubt he was still asleep. Sam was shaking the bed aggressively to wake me up.
"Come here, I gotta show you something." He claims. What could be so important this early? I squint my eyes open, looking at the alarm clock. It's only 8:30am. It's also a Saturday.
"Show me later." I close my eyes again, wrapping my arm around Loki. I just wanted to sleep.
"Sarah, come on. It'll be quick. You could go back to sleep after I show you."
I wouldn't be able to fall back to sleep. It's literally too bright outside.
"What do you really want? You know I can't go back to sleep after I get up." I groan, not wanting to leave the bed. I really want to go back to sleep.
"Oh, get up." He insists.
"No." I shut my eyes again.
"If you won't get up, I'm just gonna make you." He says, ripping the blankets off of me, and dragging me off the bed.
"Oh, come on! I want to sleep." I rub my eyes, laying on the ground.
"You're out of bed, now get up." He says, tugging at my arm again. The metal one, obviously. He'd probably be breaking something if it was my other arm.
"Fine, I'm getting up." I open my eyes, and the sunlight flashes through the windows. My eyes sting from not enough sleep, but that'll go away soon.
"Hurry up." He says, waving for me to stand up and follow him. So I do.
I walked slowly behind him as he lead me toward the kitchen. If he tried making me breakfast, that's a nice gesture, but I'd really rather sleep. He probably burnt it, if he did.
"What're we doing here?" I ask.
"Just wait one moment." He says, standing still, looking at the kitchen. What is he even doing.
"I said," he says louder, "Just wait one moment."
"Sam, I heard you the first time." I yawn.
He wasn't telling me, though. Suddenly, from behind the counter, Bucky, Thor, Peter, and Loki appeared. I'm confused how Loki's here, when he was just sleeping. Probably an illusion. I couldn't be more confused right now.
"Surprise!" They shouts, but not too loud.
Peter elbows Loki in the side.
"Oh," he mumbles, "Confetti!" He says, throwing confetti in the air. Stark's gonna hate him for that.
"What's going on?" I ask Sam.
"Are you really that dumb?" Sam laughs.
I shrug, waiting for him to answer my question.
"You really don't know?" He laughs again. Am I forgetting something? He's making it seem so obvious.
"Sarah. It's your birthday." He finally answers. March 14th. How did I forget that? I mean, it's not like I celebrated it in years, but I should've remembered that.
"Oh." Is all I could say, laughing at myself.
I look back at Bucky, Thor, Peter, and Loki. Loki picks the confetti off of the ground, and throws it again. I'm guessing he's never seen confetti before this very moment.
"Happy birthday!" They say.
Bucky and Thor have birthday hats on, and it was fucking hilarious.
"Thank you." I chuckle, still shocked I forgot my own birthday.
"It's not just all surprises, though. I made birthday waffles." Bucky says, enthusiastically.
"Oh, Buck. I love the gesture, but I really don't want a burnt breakfast." I joke.
"I didn't burn them this time." He says, moving away from the counter to show the waffles stacked on a plate. I don't even know how I didn't see that when I walked in.
"Really? No fire? I'm impressed." I chuckle.
"All he did was open a box and put the frozen food in that heating device." Loki adds.
"That Midgardian heating device is called a toaster." Thor informs him.
"I don't really care." Loki mutters to Thor.
"Well, it seems like you did."
"I don't. I'll call it what I want."
"Hey, shut up and eat the waffles that I didn't burn." Bucky interrupts.
