The sunrise wakes me up in the morning. I'd forgotten where I was, at first, until I remembered all that happened last night. We were still outside, under the tree, and he was still asleep, from what I could tell. I never know if he's really sleeping or not.
His arms were still wrapped around me, and surprisingly, I didn't move much while sleeping, like I usually do.

I open my eyes, looking out at the sunrise. There was a perfect view from here, even in the morning. I get why he doesn't like being on Asgard that much, but I don't get why he wouldn't want to see it. I mean, I get his father is pretty shitty, but this place is beautiful. If Sam were here on Asgard he wouldn't know what to do. He probably wouldn't believe his eyes.

I lay here, for what seems to be a while, until I hear Loki waking up.
"Good morning." I smile back at him, even though his eyes are still closed.
He opens his eyes, his mouth gaped open for a moment, his facial expression off, but then smiles tiredly.
"How was your first night on Asgard?" He asks, pulling me closer to him, hugging me from behind.

"It was lovely." I smile, as he leans his head on my shoulder.

"That's good to hear."

...

Loki gave me a tour through more of his home, but not for very long. He said he had something to take care of, so I let him go do whatever he needed to do, while I sat in his room. I asked what he needed to do, but I guess he didn't hear me when I asked him, because he didn't answer me. He just kind of left in a hurry.

Before he left to go off somewhere, he told me I was free to explore the palace, just don't go anywhere that looks forbidden. Whatever that means. It's probably better than sitting in here until he comes back, though.
...
Back on Midgard... the time of the escape..

Just like any other evening, someone was watching Erik. This time, it was Steve. None of them really enjoyed watching Erik in his cage for a long period of time, but it was the option that was the safest in this situation. Nobody wanted to leave him unsupervised, because nobody knows the full extent of what he could do.

Like any other time Steve was watching Erik, he sat in a chair, arms folded, watching him directly for a while, then looking around, and then becoming distracted for a few moments. He never stayed distracted for long, though, he always went back to watching his every movements. Which is probably where all of this went wrong. He was so caught up in making sure Erik wasn't doing anything wrong, he didn't take notice of anything else in the room. Not until the lights turned off. It was pitch black.
Steve blinked, not sure if what he was seeing was right. He sat up, opening the doors to look out at the hallway. It was perfectly lit.
Steve sighed, but when he turned around, nothing was perfect. He was met face to face with Erik. Steve backed up, hitting a switch, that caused an alarm to go throughout the tower. He was out. Erik was out of the cage. And in a moment, before he could even realize it, his face was met with a fist, and he fell to the ground, sitting in the darkness, ears ringing louder than the alarm.

As soon as everyone heard the alarm, they all rushed to the room in which Erik should be, but they were met by him in the halls.
"Rogers is down." Tony says, until he realizes he's not totally down yet, since he wasn't knocked out.

"This really shouldn't be a surprise to you," Erik begins, "But unfortunately, I don't have time to tell you how I escaped."

And that's when everyone started fighting him. At this point, they didn't care if he was alive or dead. Either way, he had to be stopped.

Thor ran to find Loki, since Loki didn't exactly know what the alarms meant, and did tell him to find Sarah and bring her to Asgard, even though he didn't want to go there. He had no choice, though.
"What of her brother?" Loki asks Thor.
"He's usually in her room, is he not?" Thor asks.
"And if he's not?"
