I sat in my room as everybody argued.
Peter was with me.
He didn't know what to say.
At all.
But neither would I if I was him.
"Tony, you have to stop. Apologize to the girl!" I hear Clint yell.
"I didn't give her those memories." He says back.
"But you're triggering them!" Thor yells.
It goes silent for a while. I assume they're being quieter now.
He should apologize. But even if he did, it wouldn't affect anything.
"Sarah...." Peter begins to speak.
"Please... don't- don't leave."
I look up at him.
I would probably be kicked out.
"I- I wish I could've helped I-."
I cut him off, hugging him.
I just needed a hug.
"O-oh, okay." He says, hugging me back.
I needed to stay.
Even if wasn't actually going to leave, I needed to see if I would.
And I wouldn't.
I let go of him and lay back down on my bed.
I didn't want to talk, but he seemed to want to.
"Peter."
"Y-yeah?"
"Why shouldn't I."
"Shouldn't leave?"
I nod.
"I need you, Sarah. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you left and I did nothing."
I sit there, looking at the ceiling.
I couldn't think.
Nothing.
A sit up, tears still steaming down my face.
I wasn't in the best mood, but I laugh a little.
"What?" Peter asks.
"Why is there a fucking snake on the desk."
He looks over to the desk and chuckles a bit.
"I- I don't know. Why is there a snake on the desk?"
"I'm not a snake." It says.
"What the fuck?" I laugh.
"Did the snake just- just talk?" Peter laughs.

The snake crawls down to the floor.
"I'm not a snake."
"No, you're definitely a tiger." I say.
All of a sudden, the snake turns into the man I recently saw.
Loki.
"Holy- shit." Peter says.
He never curses so that was funny.
"Th-that's... Mr.Loki..." Peter says, leaning against the wall.
"Really? No, that's clearly Steve." I roll my eyes, jokingly.
"But I thought he was.." Peter gets cut off.
"A villain?" Loki assumes.
Peter nods, wearily.
"I suppose it's not your fault you believe so. You were told what they wanted you to hear." Loki says to Peter.
"What?" Peter was so confused.
"He was mind controlled when he destroyed New York. Basically his whole life was a lie.. blah blah blah... father never loved him.. blah blah blah."
I joke.
"That's pretty accurate, actually." Loki smirks.
"S-so you're a good guy?" Peter asks.
He nods.
"Okay, but how'd you get out?" I ask.
He was literally locked up.
He laughs, "I found my ways."
"They'll realize you're missing."
"I doubt it."
"How come?"
"Well..."
...
He explains how he somehow got a card board cut out of himself and sat it in the corner.
Holy shit.
"Yeah, you're going to get caught."
"Nonsense. I think everything is going to work out perfectly fine..."
The door opens.
"AHA. I told you, she was working with him." Stark yells, a little to excited.
"Sorry." He mutters once everybody looks over to him.
"Loki, what are you doing?" Thor asks.
"I came to say hello to her." He says, quite calm.
"Step away, from the girl. And Peter." Stark yells at Loki.
"Since when did you care about her well being?" Loki asks Stark, smirking.
"I said, step away." He repeats.
"I'm not a bad person." He laughs.
"Yes you are." Thor says.
They were wrong. There was both light and dark in a human. The part you know in a person is the part you choose to see.
"He's not." I speak up.
Everybody turns over to me, including Loki.
He gives me a little smile.
"What are you talking about?" Thor says.
"His memories."
"What about them?"
"He never did anything bad."
"He destroyed New York and killed-."
".. not willingly."
"What do you mean?"
I put my finger up to my mind and start tapping it, indicating he was mind controlled.
"I know, I know. This sounds crazy, but she isn't wrong." Loki laughs.
"Loki-." Thor begins.
"She's a liar." Tony says.
"God, Stark if you don't like me because of the mistake Barnes made years ago, then just tell me..... no offense, Buck, I know it wasn't you." I say.
Bucky gives a bit of a smile.
"Don't bring him into this!" Stark says.
"But you bring him into every conversation including me.." I whisper.
"Loki comes with us." Stark says.
"No."
"What?"
"He's not going with you."
"Yes, he is."
"He didn't do anything wrong."
He stays silent.
Thor begins to suggest something.
"What if we just bring him back to Asgard. Forbid him from using the Bifrost?"
"That would be splendid." Loki says.
It was better than here.
He begins to take Loki away.
"Bye..." I say.
Letting Loki leave.
Doing nothing to stop them.
He wouldn't be free.
I know he wouldn't
They'd lock him up there.
Yet I did nothing.
