"I love the way you speak, Thalia. Para kang nagsusungit na asawa ko."

The butterflies inside my stomach are going crazy even more. Kung mayroon pang mas exaggerated doon, ito na siguro yung nararamdaman ko ngayon.

Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko at tuluyan ng sumilip ang mga ngiti ko sa aking mga labi.

I tried biting my lower lip as if it would still help me hide my precious smile.

I hate Dion Andrius! I really hate him! I hate the way he treated me like this! I hate him for being a straightforward person! I hate him! I really do! I hate the way he gives me sudden heart attacks.

Like, Oh! God! When will he inform me?

I can't even utter a word.

He was still staring at me, directly into my eyes. I stared back at him too. I could almost see how his eyes glimmered in too much happiness.

"Ang landi mo!" Marahan ko siyang tinulak papalayo sakin para makatayo ako at makaalis sa pinaguupuan ko. I crossed my arms over my chest as I walked slowly towards the window.

Hinawi ko ang kurtina, tanging ang glass na dingding na lang nito ang humaharang para hindi tuluyang makapasok ang hangin sa loob. Kitang-kita ko rin ang asul na asul na kulay na naghahari sa kalangitan.

I heard Dion's footsteps from behind, he's now walking in my direction.

Pakiramdam ko ay umikot ang buong paligid ko dahil sa sinabi ni Dion. Wala akong ibang naririnig kundi ang paulit-ulit ng mga salitang kabibigkas niya lamang. Napaka-bilis na ng tibok ng puso ko at hindi ko alam kung kailan ito babalik sa normal. Hindi ako makasagot.

"Uh..." I murmured. Shit, Thalia. Act yourself!

"If you're not ready yet, you're not obliged to answer me right away. I'm not pressuring you, baby. I'll wait for you. Like what I always do, baby." He almost whispered.

My heart melted.

I will marry him. I wanted to marry him. I really want to.

But isn't it too early? I wanted all the things that surrounded me to be settled first before stepping into a new milestone in my life.

Hindi pa nga sila tuluyang nagkaka-ayos ni daddy. Maayos naman ang pakikitungo niya kay Dion sa tuwing nagsasabay kaming mag-dinner, pero ramdam ko ang boundary doon.

Nais kong tanggapin ang basbas ng mga magulang ko para sa aming dalawa bago kami ikasal. Sa ngayon, kaunting suyo pa kay dad, Dion, makukuha mo ulit ang loob niya.

Daddy is just afraid for the history to happened again to me, to the point that he wants me to marry Lure instead of Dion. But I'm sure he'll let me go to where I am complacent, content, and happy.
