The Move

Bella spent the next few weeks discussing with various people the plans for her family property. She talked to JJ, Aaron and Wil about what they needed in the house for the boys, and themselves. 

It was decided that JJ and Wil would get the six bedroom house, since they could still have more children and Aaron wasn't currently in a relationship with anyone. The old playhouse would become Bella's private retreat. After all, it was her property and she was a teenager. It would also give her somewhere private to complete her school work and practice her potions safely.

A driveway would be put in leading to the two houses but not to the playhouse. The only ways to the playhouse would be the path through the maze and floo from the new Hotchner house, Ilvermorny, and Pax Alley. Skylights would be added to the playhouse to allow the potion fumes out on a clear or cloudy day. The loft would become her magic space and the downstairs area would remain muggle friendly.

As for the houses, the ballrooms were being changed into swimming pool rooms. One parlor would become a family room and one a playroom for the younger children. The third parlor at the new Hotchner house would become a magical toy and tool storage claiming it as a storage closet. This would house all the brooms and some practice snitches for Bella, and give Bella a floo connection to school.

Bella talked to the head goblin and the head elf on the job about the various wards they could put on the property and they even suggested a few for her to put on it herself. This would guarantee that those particular wards responded to her, and that she could alter them as needed.

Bella visited the Weasley boys as often as she could while the oldest two were in town. Bill talked to her about the different types of wards since she was slightly interested. Charlie told her of some of the mishaps and joyous occasions at the dragon reserve. The twins tested some products on her and showed her some of the results from their testing of products on Ron.

All in all she had a really good few weeks before the move. Charlie left back to the Dragon reserve after a week. Bill went over the wards and scanned for cursed items in the houses, before heading to Romania.

When the move finally happened, Jack and Henry were super excited because it meant that they could ride on their brooms more. The first thing the two boys did was check out their rooms before Jack got permission to go to Henry's, Aaron said he could go as long as one of the house elves connected to the property took him so he didn't get lost. 

Bella set up her study in the house and then her room before heading to the playhouse to set up her potion lab and desk there.  She also made sure to have the kitchen stocked with food and made sure Dobby was the only house elf allowed in and gave him specific instructions not to appear in front of anybody that does not live on the property or Rossi.

All the house elves were under strict orders not to appear in front of Muggles unless they lived on the property.  Or to use magic in front of them unless permission was granted. The house elves were there for the upkeep of the buildings and the grounds
