Bella is the first to magic the ball by making animals run across the surface. She stands up and walks over to a couch as they start passing the ball through the air again.
She takes a seat in a chair facing the boys as the adults walk into the room. Rossi and Aaron take a seat on the couch to her left while the married couple take the love seat to her right.
"Aaron, I overheard their offer earlier and I believe you should take it. I realize you did it for Jack's sake but right now what he needs is someone who can help him with his magic when Bella is at school and you most certainly can't help much despite wanting to." Rossi says.
"I know, so the only problem I have is how to tell her that I'll be getting Jack a nanny rather than keep asking her to watch him." Hotch says.
"Tell her that you decided this so that she can focus on her career and education more." Bella says. "She told me she was wanting to take some classes so she could become a teacher, at the moment she is only qualified to be an assistant for a kindergarten class. She would like to be able to teach the class instead."
"She would make an excellent teacher." JJ says, the others nodding in agreement.
"Guess I'll go with that then."
"As for me and school, Miss. Emalline says I can get a portkey that will take me to school at six fifty every morning giving me ten minutes to get to class, or stay in the dorms. The portkey will also bring me home at four thirty every afternoon. If I stay in the dorms, I am allowed to come visit every weekend if I want to, from Friday afternoon after classes, of course, to Sunday evening. There is also a floo connection option but that requires a school employee to come in and connect your floo to the schools floo network. Honestly, I think it is the best option they have, as it would allow me to go to school earlier if I felt I needed to or stay longer after school for clubs and activities and I would like to join the quidditch team. They have inner house teams and school vs. school teams. So there are five different teams and teams practice one day a week. Games are held on Saturdays. I could even join both my house team and the school team. House games are scheduled around school games."
Wil and Rossi smile at her. "Well, certainly sounds like you like quidditch." Wil says.
"Like it? I love it. I love the feel of the wind on my face as I fly through the air. I was the seeker on my team at Hogwarts."
"Ahh, that's right. We hope this doesn't come up but you still look like her. Hyacinth Potter, that is." Rossi comments. "What are you going to tell students if they ask you about her?"
"I'll just say I am Belladonna Le Faye, not Hyacinth Potter." She responds casually. "So, Mr. Hotchner, which one do you want to do? The daily portkeys, the weekend visits, or the floo network?"
"With the portkeys, we would have to make it look like you have left the house for the day, which would mean finding someplace so the portkey can be activated without anyone seeing you, but then there's the risk of someone seeing you one day accidently. The weekend visits would be good, but when you have a quidditch game we would see you less. The floo is a good option but then we would have to find a way of explaining why you don't answer the door if someone stops by real quick. Jess says some of the neighbors would do that once in a while, and apparently I have some nosey neighbors."
"Well, they can be nosey as much as they like, however they can't see what's going on in the house and especially not the living room where the floo is located." Bella says. "And it is not unusual for people to miss other people leaving."
"Then, we will let the school know we would like the fireplace connected to the school so you can go that way."
"Okay, so now for some real questions." Rossi says. "How long have you known your son is a wizard?"
"And what is the first thing you saw him do?"
"I've known since a little while after Hailey passed away. The first thing I saw him do is stop his fork from falling on the floor and causing it to float back up to his hand." Aaron tells them. "Now, Bella, earlier at dinner you said you don't usually tell people you have a boyfriend, why?"
Bella sighs, but explains. "Petunia and Vernon told me that 'freaks' don't deserve boyfriends or girlfriends, that those were reserved for normal people and if I even slightly indicated I had a crush on someone, Vernon would beat me. That is why I never told my relatives. At school, it was more of a matter of fickle people. And by fickle people, I mean every darn witch and wizard in all of Britain. Every move I made, every breath I took, every word I said was taken as either 'Oh, she is definitely light.' or 'She is headed for the dark, people.' Someone entered me into the Triwizard Tournament and everyone turned against me, even my two 'friends.' all except him, Hermoine, and the twins."
"You were in the Triwizard Tournament?" Rossi exclaimed, Bella nodded.
"What is the Triwizard Tournament?" Mr. Hotchner asks.
"The Triwizard Tournament is a competition between Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons." Bella says. "It was banned a few centuries ago but in my fourth year they brought it back to better relations between Great Britain, France, and Bulgaria's magical communities. And despite their being an age line around the Goblet of Fire, which is how the school champions are chosen, preventing anyone below the age of seventeen from entering, my name came out of the cup. Anyway, only four people sided with me."
"The twins you referred to are the ones Jack and I met this afternoon?"
"Yes, they, Hermoine, and my boyfriend helped me survive the tournament. In fact, with their help I managed to win. I gave the twins my winnings and, well, I agreed to go on a date with the other helper. Of course it was a secret date, but it was amazing. I took some money off what Hermoine owes me for school. "
"Why was it secret?"
"Because at Hogwarts, the houses don't really get along. Especially not the two we were in. His house was supposedly full of those who are destined to become evil. It is the house of the cunning and ambitious. My true house, but because of a manipulative, thieving, old man, I refused to be placed in it. The house I was in was the 'good' house. The house of the brave and courageous." Bella explains.
"If you had been seen with him, people would have believed that you were completely evil." JJ says.
"Yes, so we dated secretly, he didn't care I was the girl-who-lived. Though he said if we ever started dating, not so secretly, he did not want his face showing up in the papers. It was him who helped me pick my new name."
"Well, we should really all be getting home. The boys have both fallen asleep on the floor." Wil says, after a glance at the two boys, who have somehow managed to duplicate the ball.
Bella gets up and picks up Jack as JJ does the same with Henry. "It was great to meet you all and a pleasure to talk to you all as well."
"Perhaps we can talk more in the future." Rossi says. "Here is the recipe you wanted. If you ever want more authentic Italian recipes let me know."
"I most definitely will. My boyfriend is Italian and I would love to be able to make him some the next time I see him. He said he may try vacationing here next year. If he can convince his mother. I may even take you up on the cooking lesson as well."
Rossi walks them to the door.
